In September my daughter and I were involved in a motor vehicle accident. After the accident we sought treatment for the head, neck, and shoulder injuries we sustained as a result of the collision. I found myself dealing with the insurance company of the party whom was responsible for the wreck. At first this seemed to go fine and it looked as if all of our medical bills would be taken care of without needing to involve an attorney. Then the insurance company stopped communicating with us and there we were, stuck with outstanding medical bills. I realized I needed at least some advice from an attorney so I decided to call Michael Phillips. Over the course of our conversation, I realized that I needed more than just his advice, I really needed his help. He understood how things worked in these cases in a way that I did not. In the end, my husband and I decided that hiring Michael was the best possible choice. This choice took the stress off of us. Michael did everything we didn't know how to and the results were much better than if we had continued trying to resolve matters on our own. We couldn't be happier that we hired him! He is efficient, experienced, knowledgeable, and he was able to explain things in a way that my husband and I could understand. Don was successful at removing a mechanic’s lien on my home and evading litigation in a lawsuit brought against me by a residential contractor and his lawyer. Brandon Moffitt was my attorney over the course of about a year. He solved several issues for me related to a complicated probate case . Several attorneys were involved and I was in over my head legally. He was my primary contact and counselor regarding contracts, property settlement, will writing, gas and oil rights....everything that "came up". He resolved conflict between family members and prevented disputes during a difficult time.
He is a calming, professional person, willing and capable of putting out fires. He stayed with my case until probate ended and the issues I had were resolved enough to proceed without an attorney. In other words, he saw things through and made them better while saving time and money.
His fees are more than fair and he was careful about never overcharging. He often answered the telephone personally and if not, always returned calls promptly. If you've ever hired an attorney, you know how rare it is to have an open line of communication. I appreciate that most of all. I would hire him again with confidence. I regret ever hiring Kimbro. Half way through the process he abandoned the case and pawned it on another lawyer. I had to drive over 16 hours to meet with him (live in florida) because he would not return phone calls. Kimbro seems to be quite incompetent when it comes to estate litigation but it didn't stop him from taking over $2500. My issue til this day still isn't resolved and now I have to start all over with a new lawyer. 1 out of 10 would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!
UPDATE: Wow you guys really trying to make yourselves look like the good guys here. First off you didn't win something that my aunt dropped the case for. Secondly, I didn't drive 16 hours for my health. I drove to get ahold of Kimbro about why he was dodging my calls or emails and still after seeing him and still I got no answers or further help. My issue was not resolved, I asked if we could move forward with the Determination of Heirship and crickets. Say what you want, but I was treated with disrespect and dismissed. Thanks for the reply or so call 'clarification.' Good day.
