When it came time to go to settlement, Ruth Ann forgot quite a few things. First she forgot to mention in a timely manner that our closing costs had to be wired to her her account as opposed to accepting a cashiers check. This was mentioned to me on the day of closing and 45 minutes before the bank closed. This forced me to have to leave work in the middle of a lesson to make it to the bank on time. It was extremely stressful. Finally when we made it to settlement that night, she forgot to include some costs in the final paperwork. In fact it was I that had to remind her about some of the missing costs. It was not very much money, but still I would have rather had it all done right then and there. For something as big as purchasing a house, I guess I just expect a bit more organization.

Ruth Ann was very thorough with our purchase and sale form. She met with us on a Sunday to go over the form after reviewing it, and provided outstanding guidance and suggestions. She even conducted a preliminary title search for us, which uncovered important information for us. We would highly recommend her for legal advice for purchase and sale agreements.

We bought our new home in July, and the Builder's of our house used Foster Law for our closing procedures. We showed up on closing day and they had no clue that they owed us hundreds in closing costs back. We had to come back a few days later to pick up the check, which seems disorganized on their part. In addition, they said that they could not give us our copies of our mortgage papers on closing day. We closed end of July, it is now October and we still have yet to receive our closing documents. I also received an email from our home insurance provider that no payment was received, which is up to Foster Law to send. Ive tried to reach out to them multiple times with no reply. They might be a sufficient law firm for other things, but I would strongly recommend not using them for closing on a house.

I was a client of Mr. Maher's firm for 2-3 years. The firm filed Failure to Pay Rent filings in Baltimore County and Baltimore City for three company's that I manage. On 3-5 cases, the firm did not file the cases in a timely manner with the courts related to cases that I had referred to them and they had acknowledged receipt and agreed to file for me. In the end the cases were refiled at my request but would not have been refiled had I not checked in with the Firm to obtain status. I did not like the manner in which I was treated and the fact that I had to be responsible for checking in with them after each case was referred to them to ensure compliance. I felt that a better system could be implemented and to preserve the relationship, I suggested possible mechanisms to prevent such mishaps which were rebuffed. In end I was verbally abused via email and I was blamed for the cases not being filed timely/properly.

Did not collect the judgement I was awarded. Caldwell was hired to represent me in court. Twice I won the judgement. He was suppose to collect the awarded funds on my company's behalf. He either did not collect the funds via a payment plan or wages garnished per our request. I do not know if He collected the money and kept it. After the judgement was awarded he never returned my phone calls or messages. I emailed, left phone messages on his vm and with his personal secretary, and stopped by the office twice. I never had a reply.

Mr. Staiti came highly recommended by another attorney. Unfortunately, he failed to return any of my calls or emails after I sent him the documents he requested. I have followed-up via email with him three times, and left messages with his secretary four times.
Had Mr. Staiti just been honest and told me that he wasn't interested in my case, I would have sought advice from another attorney. Instead, he told me the case was "intriguing" and scheduled a tentative meeting the following week. He has since blown-off that meeting.
Chris, if you feel this review isn't accurate, please let me know why. I have emails and phone records to back up my statements.
Obviously, I would not hire Mr. Staiti to represent me.

Go with a another attorney, I was being sued by a gold digger and didn't realize we hired another gold digger to represent us. We had spoken with another attorney but we didn't have all the money at the time to hire him so this attorney gladly took OUR CASE AND ALL he wanted to know was when are you going to pay.. Bill ferris saved me. I was 21 and got an aggravated DWI when I went out celebrating that I was going to join the marines and I was to sign my release forms the following morning before my arrest. When I was released by the judge I was heartbroken and horrified as to how my future would turn out. The military didn't want me after everything was said and done but bill kept me from doing 1-3 and a felony conviction to 3 years probation with a misdemeanor. I was 21 years old and made a mistake. If it wasn't for bill I would be 31 now and an every day criminal because of that mistake. If I went to prison and came out a felon, no one would hire me. Bill kept that from happening even though I said I'd rather just go to jail for a year than walk on eggshells for 3 he told me to hold out and keep fighting because the quick way isn't the way you want to take. He is a good man, a good lawyer and is sincere. I haven't spoken to him since my conviction but I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you bill ferris

We needed a lawyer to represent my wife in order to extend a peace order against a person living near us. We were given Mr. Ferris as a recommendation so we decided to use his service. We were completely dissatisfied with his lack of ability to not only get our names right in the court room, getting the date wrong by 10 years, and not fully representing my wife who was the plaintiff by performing a terrible job preparing. We left the courtroom wondering if he was senile considering how bad he did his job to help us, with expectation he would be compensated for his services. I highly encourage anyone considering his services to look elsewhere. There are many to choose from who have more fire and determination to do well than this old man who it appears to hold on to past experience and length of time as a lawyer to prove his adequacy or relevance in life. His license needs to be revoked!

Very poor communication skills. He seems to be more emotional than strategic. He is almost impossible to reach by phone and only sparingly will respond to your e-mails. He has bankruptcy knowledge but seems more interested in fighting with the other attorneys instead of working things out. I would avoid this attorney if you're looking for a bankruptcy lawyer.

I hired Mr Markowitz two years ago when I had trouble with two of my commercial tenants/properties. Mr Markowitz was highly professional and gave great advice on how to handle each situation as they were completely different. He explained the process and all the possibilities that I might encounter. Although the process can be tedious the end result was successful. I gained possession of one my properties and Mr. Markowitz was able to collect all of my past due rent by his skillful negotiations with the tenant. He presently acts as a liaison one of with my tenants and often collects the rent and promptly forwards it to me. I would highly recommend Neal Markowitz because of his knowledge of the legal process, his ability to get the job done as well as his overall professional demeanor. On a personal level he is very candid, honest and is always available to help and answer questions as they arise.

I hired Neal Markowitz as my attorney for debt collection. The case didn't even go to the court, the plaintiff signed and agreed with the payment schedule. Neal Markowitz is supposed to mail me the check monthly after his cut, but he's always late with the check. It's been almost two years now, and he has been late almost every month. At the beginning, I need to send email every month asking for the check, later on, I will send emails after a few months for the check, and he will mail the check with 3-4 month total payment at once. He is super unprofessional with work, lack of due diligence.

I hired the law firm of Mr. Ghosal. He was handling my case. There was an important issue with time. He went on vacation the following week and did not give my documents to another attorney to deal with. He later had an unsupported opinion (no references to the documents etc. given to him in the case, just wide vague statements) issued to me and was ready to charge me for the time spent for "investigating the case." When I asked for reasons for the opinion, I was not given one. Then I asked to contact a senior attorney in the firm who could review the opinion I was given. That did not happen; instead my agreement was canceled and my retainer was returned. I can support all that I have stated with documents including emails, if necessary.

Looking for a lawyer to handle a problem with a mortgage company. I called the company and explained I wanted to pay my mortgage a year in advance. I paid them but they put the payment as a lump sum payment and after Manny emails and mess ages it took them 10 months to fix this. It caused my credit score to drop from the 700s to the 500s. This caused one of the companies I do business with to discontinue my credit line. I was doing close to $300,000.00 per year in sales now I don't have the credit to do this I was also going to receive 5% cash back on top of this. My credit score has went back up into the 600s and I contacted them and the refused to reopen my credit line.
