He ran my retainer down to nothing on emails alone. During child custody trial he did not speak up or attempt to dispute any of the non sense said by the guardian. He charged me 320 an hour and was not prepared for trial. He conducts himself very Unprofessionally by how he speak to you. He Is very happy to collect payment for answering emails and making motions but for trial he went belly up. It was embarrassing. I wish I had someone else.. anyone else.

Hired Rick and nothing was done. FIRST round custody case he advised he has a partner lawyer that if hired judges could not take the case due to them handling the judges divorce and forsure would get another judge as supposedly the judge was byast against fathers. That is a lie judge denied removal and then Rick advised case was over nothing they can due not even a court date just a file submission knowing it gets denied and chatged 10k because him and his friend would be a team. come to find out. It had happened to them before and they know it doesn't work. They advise it to take your money.
Second time with Rick. Hired to file share custody. Took payment blamed covid for the reason we couldn't get a court date. Court offices advise that was a lie as they where having virtual court. That is in 2020 and 2021 and 2022 used excuse of being sick and never available. Had two meetings in 3 years and both times same line of Need the same documents nothing done. Trying to contact no answer. Come to find out by the court he removed himself from my case with out any notice or contact advising me. Lied and charged over $15,000 between both rounds.
This has been a horrible experience I regards to having a lawyer.

This attorney is the epitome of incompetence. Lacking essential skills, her strategy relies on your inaction, allowing her to file baseless claims and secure default judgments. Her representation of debt collectors reflects a complete disregard for legal standing. During a court session, I requested a brief extension from the judge to hire a lawyer for my defense. Subsequently, she removed herself from the case.

I had a very refreshing experience working with AM Law attorney Brandy Abreu on my real estate transaction. I have been in talks with De La Rosa Law firm for a few months regarding the dazn class action and everything has been smooth and professional so far. The thing that made me want to leave a review is the customer service...Earlier this week I reached out to them by email to get an update on the case. And I got a email in under 5 minutes!!!!!!!! 4 minutes to be exact. I couldn't believe it..... And it wasn't some automated b.s. reply saying they will get back to me another time, it was a actual detailed reply about the status of the case. Not even my "Family Lawyer" replied to my email that fast and so efficiently. I don't review often. If the service is bad or good I don't even bother to review, I only take the time to review if the service is HORRIBLE or GREAT, and that level of service was great so they earned this review 100%.

Without hesitation I give my highest recommendation to Bruce Jacobs, my attorney since December 2014.
I had researched and spoken with many other attorneys in my search for help in my foreclosure case. Then I heard Bruce Jacobs speak on his weekly radio show “Debt Warriors” every Wednesday at 5pm on 880 AM. I was VERY highly impressed on his knowledge and absolute mastery of the subject matter regarding foreclosures and the crooked banks. No one better than Jacobs understands how the crooked banks operate in foreclosure cases.

I have been trying to keep my home for nearly four years. I have paid thousands for legal "expertise" NEEDING representation like a trauma victim needs a surgeon.
I am not an attorney. But I do know how to read . Two weeks ago, I happened to review my court docket. My case had been set for TRIAL. The attorney I had hired and already paid $$$$ monthly was clueless. I was just another case to him.
I was dangerously close to trial without an attorney I had faith in. I interviewed 3 more attorneys. Not impressed. I thought of a different approach.
I personally went to observe foreclosure trials scheduled before a random judge. Random attorneys. Very depressing watching failure in motion with so much at stake for the clients they represented.
I do not claim to have an informed legal basis for my judgement. I do not know the "standard of care" for lawyers. I can recognize glaring lack of preparation, legal knowledge with no evidence of "zealous advocacy" for clients rights.
Then I saw an attorney who actually clearly articulated his clients rights and facts of his defense. His partner was just as sharp. The bank's attorney was no match. These guys WON the case. I stayed longer. He had another case. The bank wanted to postpone the case. Judge said " NO. Trial NOW ". If I could read minds, I would of heard "Bring it on ". They again prevailed. Case dismissed. Two families didn't loose their homes that day. I followed him and his team out of the courthouse.
The lawyer was Bruce Jacobs. His partner Court Keeley. Two days later, I went for the free consultation. I met with the firms FOUR attorneys who ravenously examined my mortgage /documents looking for merits for my defense. They spent FOUR hours with me. Thank you Bruce, Court, Monica and Abby.
Mr. Jacobs and his team took over my case two days before my foreclosure trial. They went ready to go to trial. I could have lost my home that day. I did not.
My case is not over. But this isn't just a case. It is my home, my children's home , my families financial security. I believe Mr Jacob's and his team get it. I am impressed with FOUR LAWYERS . Someone has contacted me almost every day. At night. Over the weekend.
It's personal and they are fighting for my family.
I am beginning to exhale.

As a real estate agent for the last 17 plus years in Miami-Dade my personal experience is that finding the right house can be challenging when your clients are on a certain budget. I hope this (current) review will be helpful for those considering good representation (it could have helped me). This lawyer could serve you well if you are seeking a legal form to be filled and filed with the court (or something straightforward), but if litigation is required, I think better counsel can be found. My mother and I had a straightforward conflict that needed legal resolution. A contract was in place that would quickly be resolved in front of a judge. The case took a year to resolve and cost us a small loss and legal costs. Throughout the case, he was never clear with us until he needed to be, instead informed us on a need to know basis. Usually his response to detailed questions was, “Let’s see what happens.” He allowed himself to be manipulated by opposing counsel several times even though I warned him practically each time. I still have many apologetic emails and recordings that testify to this, yet he was able to still charge us for his mistakes. In case you are wondering, why not fire him? I learned that lesson late. We believed in the case more than we did him and so was willing to see it through. That was a mistake on our part. The case was settled overall in our favor upon my insistence to go to court, though he was against doing so and on many occasions tried to have us settle. In the end it was clear he wanted to walk away once our money ran out. Instead of continuing to find money to pay him, it was best to be finished with him and take the small loss. In conclusion, regardless of how strong your case might be, under his representation you stand a chance to lose or settle. So beware and I hope this turns out to be helpful to someone.

Rich represented me in an injury claim against one of the major Miami-based cruise lines. The litigation process was very difficult and we were faced with numerous obstacles. Mr. Rusak handled a claim for me against a major cruise line. In the beginning he seemed to have care and have a genuine interest in helping. As time progressed, he was not keeping me as informed of things as he was in the beginning. I had to contact him on multiple occasions to find out what was going on. A client has the right to know what is going on with their case. He was doing what he needed for the case, but didn't seem much interested in me as his client through this very tough process. Mr. Rusak is very knowledgeable, but having under 10 years experience, I would personally recommend an attorney with more experience for difficult claims. My claim did reach settlement before court. But it was rushed and premature. I found out after that my claim was worth much more. Perhaps as Mr. Rusak matures in this industry, he will gain a sense of compassion toward his clients. He has been named a rising star, so he has apparently done good stuff according to his industry peers. I do wish him the best.
