My wife got rear ended on the highway and hurt her back so badly she had to have surgery. She took her case to Mark and he immediately went to work to get this case settled. He always was in contact with her and myself ( which I thought was respectful letting me call and ask questions as well) letting us know where we were at in resolving this matter. Everything was filed quickly but they said “the court doesn’t provide updates” many times when asked.
Almost a year into my process, my ex heard from a friend that their divorce was finalized in less than two months and then she tried calling the court to get information, she was then told our divorce was finalized 7 months prior.
I went to court and was able to get the final decree, but still haven’t been notified by my lawyers that I’m divorced…

Not going to lie, they are quick with starting the divorce process but it has been almost 8 months and my divorce still isn't finalized...and I was told my divorce should be finalized from 6-7 months, then they pushed it back and told me it is now 6-8months. Dennis was extremely professional. And worked around our very hectic schedules. He made sure that we understood every part of the contract and really went out of his way to help us. He is very kind and will answer all of your questions in full detail and will literally find the littlest thing on a contract. He basically saved us from making a bad Financial decision and basically losing thousands of dollars on home inspections And other things regarding the purchase of the home we were looking at. Also, He really was very blunt and honest and took our best interest at heart and was not looking just to make a buck Into something that wasn’t right for us. I had a domestic violence case in which I was the plaintiff and the only one with a attorney. My case took a little over a year to resolve. My experience with Mr. Banks is a nice guy but there are many things I experienced throughout my case that just shouldn’t of happened. I was on the stand for testimony for about 10 months for a few text messages that were not domestic violence related.
Mr. Banks let the judge be the Defendant’s paralegal and help her throughout the case. When it’s time for us to put the defendant on the stand in which we had numerous strong evidence against her breaking the law, he asks me to voluntarily dismiss the case. My parenting time got taken away just from an false accusation from the defendant in which I told Mr. Banks the judge and the defendant were wrong and tried to explain it to him in court at the present time and Mr. Banks didn’t listen to me until after i we left the court room then he realized I was right. Even though I did get back my parenting time I lost and the judge apologized, it should of never happened.
I typed up about a 40 page timeline of the domestic violence history and videos for Mr. Banks. There are times he came to the court unprepared without the correct paperwork and the videos, luckily I always carried my own copies to court. You could tell he didn’t look over the paperwork to be prepared, I had to walk him through the timeline in court for cross examination because he free styled the questions for the defendant.
I could go into more things that happened over the course of my experience with Mr. Banks but to sum it all up I think he could of did a much better job on my case.

Mr. Potuese had previously handled a home purchase and home sale for my husband and I two years ago. At that time I thought he was very good. His office was in Whiting then. I called him a few weeks ago about doing a Quit Claim Deed and, down the road, the sale of a condo. He said he was super busy and didn't know when he could get to it. I said "if your too busy, I could call someone else (Not as a threat, but as it's ok Dan, glad your busy). At first he told me that maybe I should (Not mean either, just like he understood I needed it done and he didn't want to hold me up). All good. Then he changed his mind and said he could do it. He was going on vacation and would try to get it done before he left and if not, he'd do it when he got back. I called him after he returned and (he was still nice) explained how he had 40 closings he was working on and hadn't gotten to it yet. He told me he would have it done by the following Monday. Did not hear Boo from him Monday. Tuesday my husband called and Dan said he'd try to get it done by Wednesday or Thursday. I had already explained to Dan the time issues and why, so I called him back after my husband. I told him I was sorry to bother him again but the paperwork was supposed to be done by Monday. I did not yell, curse have attitude...but he sure did! He yelled at me that maybe he won't f'ing do it at all and he already told me he was busy. Then he said, very rudely, it would be in my email in twenty minutes.
I don't appreciate being cursed at by someone who is supposed to be a Professional. Especially when I'm paying $375.00 for, what was obviously, 20 minutes of work. He doesn't even have the courtesy to call and apologize. I get it. People have bad days. But man up, be a gentleman, be a Professional and take ownership of your bad manners, whatever the reason. I will not use him again. I think his new office and, according to him, his booming business has given him a big head.

Worst experience of my life. Charged me way more then he first said and he did nothing but screw me over and kept postponing my court date because he had more important things to take care of he said. I was fighting to see my son more and had to wait 7 months to get to court bec of him. He Charged me 5000 to do nothing then wanted another 5000 to goto court. He was a horrible horrible laywer. My case was so easy I ended up not going to court with a laywer and i got 50 50 custody and got more then I asked for by myself. Don't waste your money on this guy.

I would not recommend this attorney. After paying $5000 he made my child support turn from $20 to $800, sent me an email telling me he was trying to contact me for more than a month when clearly the email was working fine and in zoom court he doesn’t know how to present himself professionally. One instance where he was representing me against my ex-wife, the camera was pointed only at his mouth from the nose down. Another instance, he had a picture of Scarface with a machine gun in the background in his office during court. Shop around.

I have worked with this office. Their lawyer was too arrogant and unkind after getting money. They made several mistakes while preparing my documents and filling out official USCIS documents. Then, their lawyer told on the phone that they had many cases and the money they got from me was not so high as they got for other cases as well. I was in a huge shock! Never recommended this office., never and ever! Official authorities in the U.S. should officially know this unprofessional services in USCIS applications!
