I came to Ron feeling very nervous about my new business. I felt lost in a sea of state laws and paperwork, having no idea where to begin. He was not only knowledgeable, he made me feel as if my ‘problems’ were now in his hands, that he would easily handle what needed doing, with very little work on my end. All the while, he kept me fully informed on what was happening and answered any questions I had about the process. Everything went smoothly and I am happy to report that my business is now up and running successfully. The entire experience was a pleasure! Ron is easy to talk to, personable and engaging. I was in a car accident and decided to seek help from William Mattar Law Offices because I always saw their commercials as a kid and I remembered the jingle, but my experience was extremely disappointing. They claimed they reached out to me multiple times through phone and email, but I never received a single message or call. It felt like they used this excuse to avoid taking my case instead of being honest about it. If they didn’t want to handle my case, they should’ve just told me to my face.
I sent letters, called repeatedly, and tried to follow up, but they kept pretending they would call me back—yet no one ever did. Ultimately, I had to handle my dispute on my own. Ironically, I ended up settling for much more money than I believe they could have ever achieved. It’s clear they only want big cases and don’t take smaller cases seriously.
On top of that, their staff was rude and unprofessional. The lawyer’s representative I spoke to often had an attitude and never made me feel valued or respected. The only positive thing about my experience was when I first went into the office—they made me feel welcome initially, but everything went downhill after that.
If you’re dealing with a case, I’d recommend fighting on your own or going to a firm like The Barnes Firm, where they might treat you with the respect and seriousness you deserve. William Mattar’s office did not live up to their reputation, and I won’t be going back.

My initial experience with the firm was great! They made me feel heard and taken care of. After a while I heard less and less until I started to reach out to them. It took several attempts to get someone to return my call only to be given an incorrect update on my case. Several times over the last year I have been given the update of “just waiting on a call back from the adjuster”
In the beginning I was promised constant updates throughout my case, now I’m told that if there is no new news don’t expect a call.

Mark was emotionally attentive and supportive from the start. His legal knowledge was reassuring and made me feel safe, but with particularly sensitive legal proceedings, support is necessary. My husband and I used Marc Taylor and his practice to assist us in his adjustment of status process from an H-1B1 Visa to a marriage based Green Card. Marc Taylor and his practice made the process extremely easy. We were able to file for adjustment within 2 months of hiring Mr. Taylor. They made sure all the paperwork was straight forward and gave us clear instructions, which made the process as lease stressful as possible. The practice was extremely attentive to any emails we sent and usually responded within 12 hours, if it was a business day. We extremely appreciated the great communication. I believe that with their help, we were able to receive the Green Card in a timely manner.
Another benefit with Mr. Taylor and his practice, was his fees. We looked at numerous attorneys in the New York City area and were pleased with the fees that we paid to Mr. Taylor.
All in all, we were very pleased with Mr. Taylor and his practice. We still have paperwork that we will have to fill out in regards to my husband's Green Card and Naturalization in the future and we plan to retain Mr. Taylor and his firm when the time comes.
