Ms Fordham came highly recommended by my real estate agent, and it quickly became clear why. Ms Fordham has a mannerism that instantly puts you at ease. She is as sharp as a whip! She knows her stuff in construction and instantly can spot failures in construction with just a brief look at a picture. We had a contractor breathing down our neck nickle and dime-ing us (or trying to) with made up, trumped up charges. Ms. Fordham instantly cut through the clutter, addressed the issue and the contractor went from overly bold and demanding to apologizing on our doorstep in less than 1 hour, dropping all charges/billing. Ms Fordham is good people! she's honest, forthright and generous with her time. Tell me where you are going to find that in an attorney? We found it here with Inge. We now have an attorney for all of our construction consultation needs and evaluations of contract for construction. We now have an attorney we trust and can trust with our estate planning needs as well. We were looking for someone that can do all of that and feel so lucky to have found her. We used her for consulting for one instance and now will be hiring her for our construction and estate planning needs. We feel very lucky to have found her through AVVO!

Ron and his firm are not only an excellent law firm but also compassionate and caring. We have been working with them on some business matters and other things and if Ron does not handle a particular item he has a colleague that does. Ron is prompt in responding and his assistant Joanne is always available to get urgent items in front of him when necessary. We have found Ron to be very professional in his approach and he always finds a way to get the job done right the first time. I was referred to Dan by the Bar referral service and immediately felt a connection with him. During the initial consultation, Dan listened to my case and thoughtfully presented guidance and potential approaches to the solution. I was in a situation where I was being taken advantage of by my business partners and retained Dan to negotiate a dissolution of the partnership. I really hope I'm not over-hyping her, but this is honestly how I feel. Kathleen is extremely intelligent, detail-oriented, honest, kept us updated regularly, respectful, timely, empathetic, and her arguing skills are insane.
She took the time to really understand our case and its nuances. Moreover, just to emphasize how intelligent she is - I have a rare, complicated disability that parents, teachers, and even doctors have to study (AND be around it) for years to be able to understand it. Kathleen was able to understand it within a week (possibly less - I didn't time her), even though I was her FIRST client with this particular disability!
She won our case, but even if she hadn't my review would be the same because of how thorough she is. We would have walked away satisfied that she looked at every possible angle.

We had the misfortune of hiring an inexperienced contractor to remodel our bathroom. He was very unprofessional and didn't quite know how to do a remodel. We paid him a lot of money but got shoddy workmanship in return. He sued us in Small Claims Court for a final payment of $1280.00 but we were fortunate to have found Jean Bouffard to defend us. Jean had the lawsuit transferred to Superior Court and we sued the contractor for breach of contract. The case was a mess of facts and figures but Jean was able to sort it out and win a judgement of $21,030 for us including attorney fees. We are very happy with her professionalism, knowledge and demeanor.

I hired Russell in the Fall of 2013 to represent me in a multi million dollar securities fraud lawsuit. The lawsuit came to an end in the Fall of 2015 after a three week trial by jury in which we prevailed on all counts.
I cannot say enough good things about Russell Knight! He is very through and organized. He took well over 5000 pages of documents and testimony, wove it into a story that the jury could understand and lead them day by day to the final outcome. Russell is as steady as they come. Do not let his boyish face and soft demeanor fool you. I guarantee that he will not let anyone take advantage of him or the situation.
Most importantly, the jury really liked Russell. After the verdict, both sides sat down with a couple of the jurors to get their feedback. They stated that Russell had presented a full, concise, believable story, which they appreciated.
If you have a large case, which this was, and need an attorney that will spend whatever time is necessary and keep you informed every step of the way, you cannot do better than Russell Knight.
Obviously, I highly recommend Russell and the entire Smith Alling firm!

Steve helped guide several multimillion dollar transactions through to the finish line. In one case, Steve negotiated and drafted all legal documents related to a transaction with Netherlands-based multi-national company and involved another nine individual share holders. Involved property transfer, leases, and a myriad of other complex issues. Mark is an exceptional attorney. I had a business lawsuit that 2 different lawyers turned down because they said it was not winnable. I had a very complicated case involving a non-compete and was in a bad place with an ex-employer who set me up to fail. I had started my business and was in dire straits until I met with Mark. Mark was immediately responsive and really worked hard to keep me in business. We knew we were on the right side of the law and he fought for me every step of the way. He showed great restraint when necessary as to not "run up my bill", but when the gloves came off...he really shined. Christy McKinley assisted us on a legal matter with an unscrupulous landlord. The landlord was trying to take advantage of us after the termination of a residential lease by charging us for ore-existing damage. Once we got Christy involved, the truth started coming out and let’s just say the landlord had a lot of explaining to do. She left no stone unturned. The landlord was betting on the odds that we would not consult an attorney, which proved to be a mistake in his part. Christy is detail oriented, and a hard worker. She is a tremendous asset on any legal case you may need to litigate.

I personally spoke with 10-12 attorneys when I began my search for an attorney that could represent me in a family estate dispute. When I spoke with Mr. Rosenblum, I knew immediately that he was the one to handle my problem. Even before I hired him, he spent much time on the phone with me and also met with my husband and I in person at his office to get a better grasp of the problem at hand. Not once, did we feel rushed... We hired him, and the all through the process of the dispute, right up until the very last minute of the estate closing, he was right by our side...
His attention to detail is top notch and truly cares about his clients; not only now, but in their future. All the documents that he prepared for us were clear and concise and I feel fully protects us and our future, and leaves no room for question or error. While I was not sure about hiring a large law firm and getting "lost in the shuffle", nothing could be farther from the truth. Mr. Rosenblum and his staff made me feel like I was his only client. On top of all of this, he is extremely quick to respond to his clients; whether it be an e-mail at 1:00 am or answering a phone call from me, at his office, on the holidays. Operating out of a quaint little office on 6th Ave, Mr Bonner handled my dad's will and then probate/estate following his death. His attention to detail is fantastic. He was always easy to get a hold of and treated me like I was his only client. When at the court house in Tacoma, several other attorney's spoke to him and he seems respected by his peers. I read fellow attorney's reviews of Mr Bonner prior to hiring. Reasonably priced and never asked for more than his iinitial retainer. His wife assists his practice. Down to earth, good folks.
