Mr. Rooney and his wonderful staff settled a car accident case for me. He made sure I could go to a doctor and the doctor got paid from the money he got from the insurance company. I have gotten the treatment I need and my bills are paid - PLUS I have settlement money for my medical bills if I have to go to the doctor again with my back. I was so happy with Mr. Rooney and I can't say enough nice things about him and his staff. I would definitely recommend him to anybody who has been in a car accident.

We hired Mr. Segal based on a recommendation from a Realtor. We did have issues with his office with during the first time we used him. My wife and I wanted to use another Attorney but our Realtor was Insistent on us using him, makes us wonder if they have an arrangement worked out between them. This last closing we used him for was a disappointment, we were in the conference room with the buyers and their Realtor ( our Realtor was again a no show at closing). During the closing Mr. Segal asked us for our Social Security Numbers within earshot of everyone in the room.
We both feel our Social Security Numbers are extreamilty personal and confidential information and should have not been ask by the Attorney until others had left the room. Our questions are why would a member of the Florida Bar ask for such confidential information in the prescience of others within earshot, we find this action totally unprofessional and uneticheal conduct and breach of our trust that we placed in this Attorney.
We would never use him or his office again, and highly recommended anyone should stay away also.

Mr. Segal was recommended by the real estate broker handling my short sale. My first conversation with him went well, I expressed my concerns about being released from the second mortgage and he assured me that he would review everything and let me know.
One week went by without hearing from his office. I called left a message and asked if he had heard about the release. I waited for a response, Nothing. I called again and asked about the release and the assistant told me that she would let me know.
Once again, no returned call. I received a message a few days later that the papers were in and please come in the following week for the closing.
I showed up for the closing and as soon as we both sat down, Mr. Segal said" This is the first time I'm looking at these papers'", he then proceeded to tell me ( in less than 10 seconds) that I was not being released from the mortgage. I was shocked. I looked at the date on the papers and his office had received the papers 10 days prior.
This is at the closing, as he is trying to hand me a pen to sign.
He looked at me and said" what would you like to do"? I started to yell at him" are you F---king kidding me ? In the two weeks that you and your assistant had my papers, you never let me know that the mortgage company was not settling". He and his assistant dropped the ball. At no point did he ever communicate to me or inform me that there was a problem.
I called the mortgage company while I was sitting at the table and they told me "take it or leave it".
If this was a death penalty case, I would have been dead.
He is the poster child for all lawyer jokes. If anyone recommends this lawyer...run in the opposite direction.

Mr Lewis is fraudulent and is good at selling you a dream! He doesn’t show up to any court dates and only communicate when it comes to money. Anytime you ask him for an update, he makes sure he ask “when is the next time you can make a payment?” He lies about filing motions (like court cases aren’t public records)! He’s definitely not recommended!

Mr. Derek Vaughn Lewis I hired Lewis to present me in federal court and the only time I seen Mr Lewis is when he came and collect my money and then the federal police came to my house and I had to send the jail I was waiting on him to show up at my court appearance and he never did as of today I have never heard anything from you and I want my money back I gave Mr Lewis a down payment of $2,000 or something and I never heard from him again so my.famiily had to pay another attorney whom help me though my entire situation
