As I read the reviews below I don't believe that I can top the high praise that this law firm has received, what I can do is tell you that this firm ended up co counseling (took over) from my original attorney in the middle of the case. Robert Johnson was short of spectacular, he literally hit the ground running. Extremely knowledgeable and quick on his feet. As a client you should always want the meanest/ nastiest kicking mule that will have your best interest in mind. Robert is that attorney, during some of the proceedings to watch Robert was extremely impressive. As he strategized with his team and explained it to where I could understand it made me feel at ease. Robert was able to get a settlement that was well past my expectations and couldn't have been happier. His staff including but not limited to Rosa was extremely professional, Rosa was my main contact and she was absolutely amazing through this process. This was a huge undertaking for them to take over like they did and they did it like true professionals. If you need a kicking mule do not hesitate to call them. You will not be disappointed.

I called his firm and sent over documents for him to review. He was the only attorney who actually called me back and discussed my case. Unfortunately my case was not what he handles but, I had a consumer law case against a car dealership he gave me some great information that I was not aware of that made my case stronger,explained a particular statute to me and gave some referrals. Even the office staff who take the calls are educated and know how to answer a call. Not very common today when I have called other offices. You can tell just from being on the phone with him he loves what he does and care about his clients and the bestoutcome.

I had the pleasure of working with Dan for several incidents:
The first was with our landlord who was being unresponsive on our 8+ service requests that had not been responded to for over 2 months. Dan offered advice on the best way to get both the landlord and management company to respond and it worked really well! We had people fixing up our rental house within 48 hours!
The second time was when we wanted to end our lease early. Again, Dan offered advice on the best way to go about this and we were able to satisfactorily end our lease without extra charges.
The third time was when we needed to get our deposit back from our rental company. Dan advised how to approach the landlord and management company and we were able to recover our entire deposit!
Dan's positive, can-do attitude made him a pleasure to work with and helped get us results.

We have worked with Nicole & Doug for many, many years and have never had a problem. We use them for non payment of services from businesses. I called Nadine at the last minute, on the Thursday before Good Friday (a holiday), to help me with a situation that I felt was quickly sliding away from me. She dropped what she was doing, asked me come to her office, sat with me for a short time and explained to me what she recommended as the next course of action. I agreed with her and she immediately took action. During negotiations with the other attorneys, she kept and continues to keep me updated.
I have never had to use an attorney before and was so nervous about the entire experience. She was very focused and calming. I hope I never need to use her again, but if I ever wind up in a situation where I may need legal advice, I would definitely call her before I called anyone else.

I was recommended to Nicole by a mutual friend in 2005 and she assisted me in a child custody matter concerning my granddaughter. I have since referred her to friends and used her myself for similar cases, real estate transactions and other legal matters, all of which were resolved better than could be anticipated. The thing I appreciate most about Nicole and that separates her from other attorneys I have used in the past is the fact that she tries to get you to work the matter out with the other party and not have you cut off communication (a tactic commonly used by other attorneys to rack up their bill). She truly cares about helping you come to an amicable resolution. However, this being said she becomes a bulldog if necessary and the case goes to trial.

Lindsay was recommended to me by my divorce attorney under pressing circumstances. Lindsay acted swiftly and worked with me on the sale of my house. Because of her due diligence she uncovered issues that could have severely impacted the closing which probably would have resulted in losing the buyer. John Chiocca is a true professional. He cuts through the nonsense, tells you as much as you want to know, gets to the point, and works to get you where you want to be. I feel like he pulled a rabbit out of his hat with my case. At his level of success, and his (impressive) University of Virginia law degree, he could be a pompous jerk. But he's not. He's a smart, well-spoken guy, but very approachable. I highly recommend him. His wife is his law partner. I've met her, but haven't worked with her. They seem like really nice people and both are hard workers.
