Absolutely one of the best decisions I've ever made was choosing Angus Lee for my attorney. I was dealing with a serious criminal offense that I thought could potentially ruin my life. There’s saying I remember from my childhood, “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let it your request be made known to God”. I found myself in a precarious situation that required law services which also required patience. A friend gave me Mr. Lee’s information and I proceeded to contact him. We discussed my situation and realized the gravity of the issues before me. He clearly explained each issue in laymen’s terms and let me understand that the process will take time. Mr. Lee was through and meticulous. Mr. Lee had the ability to keep me engaged in the process and kept me focused on important matters.
The process took a year to complete, but it culminated in a successful litigation, having my charges dropped. The character, deportment, and professionalism of Mr. Lee was exemplary. I’m truly grateful for his services and give Mr. Lee my highest recommendation.

I have retained the Law Firm twice. I was being sued by the county in civic court over a rare firearm violation. Mr. McAleer was trustworthy, professional, and responsible. The final lawsuit judgment was very satisfactory to me. Scott Johnson and his partner Deric Orr have gone above and beyond.
My case started in March 2015. It is now June 2021. Everything is finally over.
Every step of the way, one factor or another slowed my case down.. Although the efforts that these two beautiful men put forth showed their worth time, and time again.
I went from facing 8+ years in prison for a crime that happened before 2008, to being sentenced with 15 days Jail and 15 days Work Crew.
I don't know the full details of all the effort they put in, although the only bad news I was ever given was that something happened to slow the case down.. Whether it be a vengeful prosecutor, or someone else's screw up. Every step was arduous and stressful, I've been a ball of anxiety... But these two never gave up. I paid an initial sum of $6,000-$8,000 (forgot the amount).. And not a single time was a requested or required to pay more.
I believe the effort put into this extremely arduous case far exceeds the price that was paid. Based on anecdotal evidence, Scott Johnson and Deric Orr are the best Defense team in all of Eastern Washington.

Laura Shaver is an excellent defense attorney. She defended our son on a DUI and a totally uncalled for DV charge. In both cases, Laura, worked out reasonable solutions and the charges were removed or downgraded. Laura was thorough and obviously has the respect of the prosecutors and judges in Snohomish County. A family friend called me distraught several months ago. Their son - young, well behaved, never before in trouble with the law - had been accused of a serious offense. The police were investigating. The family did not speak English and needed help finding a lawyer and interpreting.
I had no idea what lawyer to suggest. Some I called requested astronomical hourly rates. By grace, I found and suggested Mr. Meryhew.

Wonderful Service and Representation, exonerating of all false claims! I am not from Seattle, was traveling for business and was set up. Court Will and his team took the time to review my case on 4th of July weekend and helped defend me, even on short Holiday notice. My case was filed and by 5 minutes past 5pm, Court Will called me and mentioned he spoke with the DA and they’ve decided to withdraw their filing! A big portion of my job involves driving, so when I recently received a traffic infraction I decided to look into options rather than just “lying down” and allowing it to go onto my driving record. I reached out to Mr. Lawrence and I am extremely glad I did. After reaching out and paying the retainer, he assured me that “he had it handled from here”. Everything went extremely smooth. I had a review hearing for an old Physical Control charge coming up and I had had very traumatizing experiences with this court and jail. I was convinced it was just not a smart or safe idea for me to show up alone and was I very nervous. I hired Duncan as recommended and I'm so glad I did!

Mark has assisted with me with two cases. From the beginning of each there were problems he was able to quickly assist resolving. (bailing out of jail and removing an arrest warrent). For each case he was able to layout out my options and he was able obtain the best possible outcome. The first was a plea to fines, probation and no jail time (was facing 10+ years). The legal system is about relationships IE prosecutor ,judge, victim mark knows this and he works those angles very well with a mixture of your case and back ground and legal maneuvers you will get a favorable result at least I did twice. both cases were dv cases one no contact violation, second dv assault result both cases were dismissed after small fine and some community service, 6 month dv class but not misdemeanors . one in king county superior court the second fife municipal court.
Mark has a team Travis helped on my second case regularly as well as mark and I felt they were a great team. I hope I never need them again...

Josie was the best, definitely made the right choice to hire her for my mom!!!! We were highly recommended to do a consultation with her by another lawyer and it was the best decision made. Carlos saved my husbands life, and our family. Two years ago my husband was arrested, and facing very serious charges. If convicted he was facing 40 years in prison. After the first meeting he had with my husband, he had him moved out of lockdown he was in for 23 hours a day to regular population, and in a much more comfortable location in the Jail. The months and days leading up to trial he was always there to answer any question I had, any time of day or night. I saw a total change in my husbands confident level. Any problem that popped up, he made me feel like it was our problem, together, not just mine. He did an amazing job at trial, it was a very stressful two week trial, and Carlos and his wife are an amazing team. His wife even helped me ensure one of our star witnesses made it to court on time to testify after he ended up in the hospital. The trial ended with a hung Jury, witch is amazing considering everything we had against us. Carlos was ready to do it all over again. Only he negotiated an amazing deal with the prosecutor, a deal that was to good to pass up. My husband will be out in less than 2 years, and he was facing 40 years.
