I consulted with Abe and Derek about a discrimination and tortious interference case in December 2018. They provided very helpful insight and advice. They listened carefully and treated me with care and respect. (Thank you!) They were willing to take on the case on a contingency basis, and believed they could reach a successful settlement. However in case a lawsuit would be needed, that would have to be filed in the state where the offense took place, hence I needed to look for attorneys based there. It was very nice of Derek and Abe to offer this advice, and I am very grateful to them for the kindness they showed that day. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I was fortunate to have found Paul! I tasked him with writing my prenup, and he was attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. I had zero prior experience with marital law, and I came to him with a ton of loose ideas for what my partner and I were looking for in the document. I knew it would be a difficult task to come to an agreement between all parties, and draft a legal document that satisfied everyone’s interests, but Paul came through. We worked together, and I found him very personable and easy to work with. He was able to break-down complex topics easily for me to understand and was extremely meticulous. On a good day Guardianship can be confusing and challenging, especially for a new Guardian. You are constantly familiarizing yourself with new information pertaining to a wide array of topics that come along quickly and consistently. At times you require help and insight from those with more experience specific to the legal intricacies that you may suddenly be encountering. I hired Mr. Pappas for my wages and tips case against my former employer. I worked for the company for 10+ yrs. I had no idea that I was being paid incorrectly and unfairly until a coworker read a similar case in an article. I researched and called Mr. Pappas for legal advice. He was friendly, polite, and heard my case start to finish. He told me indeed I was being underpaid and that I'm owed all lost wages+tips going back up to 6 years (NY state law). At the end I was able to recover my wages, tips, plus another $10,000 in fines. I was surprised how much I was able to receive even after I left my job...one thing that stood out was he always answered my emails and calls (which was a HUGE deal as I've dealt with lawyers in the past who never answer their phones!) Orit was exactly what I needed in an attorney. She is smart, astute, professional, and accessible. She doesn’t speak over her clients heads, but at the same time, doesn’t speak down to you either. I don't really want to go into specifics of my case (tl;dr it was sticky, delicate, and messy), and instead would like to focus my review on my experience with Queenie, who I hired to represent me. I'll start with results. Queenie was able to advocate for me, and I ended up with an agreement that provided me better protections. She was able to secure more for me than what I thought was possible. This is significant, especially because in these scenarios we don't always know what we can ask for. It's great to have someone in your corner who does, and will do the work to secure that for you.
The second thing I want to emphasize is how Queenie did this. She is experienced and knowledgeable, there is no doubt about that. But she also sought an environment that would give me the most leverage, using a wide range of tools and tactics. Queenie threw herself into this and was an aggressive advocate when she needed to be, and a measured advocate when it would be most beneficial to me. That was my experience with her. She also affirmed my role as the client and in the end gave me room to advocate for myself in a manner I could not before. I hope to not be in this situation again, but if I do, and for the many of us who end up here, you want someone like Queenie in your corner.

Brian's responsiveness went above and beyond excellent. Every time one of us had a question and sent him an email, in a matter of minutes, we'd get a thorough response back. Even if it was late at night or on a weekend. This really showed the three of us that he cared about our comfort.
What was great was that he explained similar restaurant cases to us and as we were going through ours, we began to see how certain things related. We got a better understanding of how employment law works. It's nice to be a waiter and have a grasp of something so important.
Also, during the course of our case, we were never left in the dark. We were always kept informed of what was going on, or if anything changed. If we had a specific timeline of events and stages the case was going through, he made sure to let us know.

I was a client of David E. Gottlieb (one of the partners at Wigdor) for about 1.5 years. I had met with a few other lawyers and selected Gottlieb because (a) I wanted a "shark" for my case and I could tell he would be very aggressive with the other side and (b) he was extremely solicitous to me, the client - he scheduled a call with me over the weekend once because his week was booked.
