Navruz is truly a gem of an attorney and I’m honored to have had her by my side representing me in a wrongful termination lawsuit.
From the very first phone consultation I had with Navruz, I immediately knew she was who I wanted to represent me. She was extremely sharp, honest, inquisitive, assertive, all while at the same time, compassionate and empathetic. What differentiated Navruz from all the other attorneys I had spoken with was that I felt like she truly believed in me and my story- a sentiment that never wavered with her as our lawsuit progressed.
Throughout the lawsuit, I was thoroughly impressed with her knowledge, work ethic, effective communication skills, and unwavering patience in educating me about the law and each step of the lawsuit. Susan Rubenstein was very effective at handling my employment issues and she negotiated a great settlement for me. She is very experienced and was excellent at mapping out an exit strategy for me which worked out perfectly. She is very hard working and smart, and she can easily deal with experienced opposing counsel. She was able to get me what I wanted in a very professional and stress free manner. I needed to consult with an attorney regarding a situation I was having with my work: I was returning to work after having been on disability leave for about five months. I was very concerned about my company’s inquiries and documentation requirements for my return to work because I had good reason to believe they were infringing on my right to privacy of my Protected Health Information as a currently disabled person and also that they were discriminating against me. It was so incredibly hard to find an attorney who was willing to take my case and consult with me. I called around for many hours with zero luck. And then I found Richard!! He was willing to help me and I was so relieved to finally have found someone who will be on my side. He had excellent suggestions and advice, and reminded me of the privacy and confidentiality I have with him via attorney-client privilege. I felt safe discussing very sensitive matters with him and he really went above and beyond in helping me. It was obvious to me that he is very knowledgeable about employment law. He presented multiple scenarios to me of how my situation might play out and that is why I felt more than prepared when I had to speak with HR again. I am happy to say I am back at work now with all HR and privacy matters having been resolved. If I ever need legal advice on a future employment situation, I know I will be calling Richard again. He was also always prompt at responding to my emails, which was great, because I had certain deadlines to make in regards to my return to work. I cannot thank you enough, Richard.

Rich is both experienced and compassionate - I always felt my stress reduce after we chatted - and he kept me on track/focused on the end goal.
With Rich's counsel, I got the exact result I wanted in every sense of the word: I am receiving ALL payments (without even having to provide standard additional documentation) while keeping relationships intact. He skillfully reined me in when I was irritated, which I believe was critical to achieving these results.

I knew of Mr. Sherman's excellent reputation in helping businesses in financially significant legal matters, so took a chance to ask his assistance with a personal situation which, though with fewer dollars at stake, was also important to me in terms of good neighborhood relations. I was impressed with how quickly he responded, how well he listened to me and immediately grasped both the legal and interpersonal issues, and though obviously busy with more "major" cases quickly took action on my behalf in a most assertive yet professional manner. I just wanted to take a moment to not only post my highest recommendation for Barbara, but also thank her. When I first started looking for representation, my instinct was to search online. I went to a few interviews with other attorneys , but I didn't feel like they understood the complexities and severity of what I had gone through. They all wanted to take my case, but I felt like a number...as though it was all just dollar signs to them.
Finally after much effort and frustration, I asked one of my attorney friends who he thought was the best in the industry. Right away, he arranged a phone consultation with Barbara. After our initial conversation, she made time to meet with me as soon as possible.
She understood the minute intricacies of what I experienced immediately. It was a very difficult/ painful issue to talk about, and Barbara made me feel welcome and understood. She not only is an absolute master in her field, but she is very astute and empathetic as well. From there, Barbara & her protege Emily Stehr ( brilliant rising star), took care of every detail. When I started working with Supreeta, my employer was trying to "manage me out" after an expensive surgery (they were self-insured). Unlike other attorneys I had contacted, Supreeta was willing to help me pursue my objectives, which originally was to stay employed and to obtain fair treatment. WhenI was eventually terminated, she was willing to take on what was a very messy case against a very uncooperative and dissembling legal team, and she steered me to an excellent outcome through mediation without having to file, which I think was the best solution for me personally. Supreeta believed in me even when I did not have any witnesses and she always had my best interests in mind. I would recommend her very highly to anyone dealing with workplace discrimination. It was an extremely stressful process for us and her combination of expertise and caring was critical to getting us through.

I was completely taken aback when I was let go from my executive position. I highly recommend Vanessa and Dolan Law Firm. After being injured on my bike and hospitalized by a careless motorist, my expectations for any kind of justice or settlement were low because I did not have the motorist’s name or information. Despite not having high hopes, I filled out Dolan’s intake web portal with the details of my injury event. After some phone conversations, I met with Emile Davis at their Oakland office (this was prior to Vanessa joining their team) to discuss the accident, and Emile walked me through the different scenarios and outcomes I could expect, which was very helpful and informative for me as someone who had never taken any previous legal action. Vanessa connected with me soon after she joined the Dolan Law team, and she was professional and clear about how she was going to move my case along. After my medical treatments concluded, Vanessa worked to put together a strongly documented and effective case and kept me informed the whole time. Vanessa’s willingness and commitment to my case was reassuring for me, especially considering the fact that at that point some time had passed and we had still not yet managed to track down the motorist who had injured me, and my hopes for a just resolution were dwindling. I was later incredibly relieved when Vanessa and the Dolan Law team succeeded in finding the motorist’s identity and then brought the necessary documentation and paperwork to the company that the motorist had been driving for. I was later awarded a settlement amount that was significantly more than I had realistically expected. I have no experience with other law firms, but I can say in summary that Vanessa and the Dolan Law team were responsive, committed and transparent with me from beginning to end, and I got a much better outcome than I had anticipated.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my unfortunate experience with Dolan Law Firm. I also appreciate the time the case manager, Mercedes, took to briefly listen to my concerns. I didn't expect to receive services from Dolan Law Firm from the questions I was asked during the information (intake) gathering. I messaged them since their website was advertised on another website as a possible law firm for civil rights cases. I read their reviews and a lot of reviews seem to be accident (personal injury) cases. Possibly there's a quota that needs to be fulfilled or the documentation that was requested that I emailed to the case manager was reviewed and or searched possibly for a statement regarding a accident and or personal injury, I am uncertain. I would have preferred to have received an email message regarding the type of case(s) the law firm is/was currently interested in taking.I realize not every person and or potential clients can be 'pleased'. However, the few negative reviews listed for this law firm have concerning and possibly valid points that I think potential clients may (or may not) want to consider. I did not receive services from this company/law firm, so I would not recommend this company to a friend or colleague.

I worked for one of the largest tech firms in Silicon Valley and was subjected to discrimination. Luckily I knew Sarah from my network, and she advocated for me through a 6 month process that ended with a favorable settlement for myself. Although I have no direct comparison, it is difficult to imagine a better lawyer to have on your side. Most importantly, at every step and decision, Sarah was clearly advocating and recommending the best outcome for myself, not trying to maximize or speed her gain. This included her supporting me “walking away” from a significant offer, despite months of work from herself. Unfortunately, the discrimination continued, but fortunately I had Sarah as a continued advocate. She provided immediate guidance, responded within minutes to incidents, and ultimately secured a substantial offer with every detail negotiated for my benefit. Apparently Sarah took vacation during my discrimination ordeal, but I would never have know given her responsiveness.
Sarah is not only extremely competent and hard working; she is selfless and displays tremendous empathy. I can not imagine a better legal experience during employment torment.

Eric is an excellent attorney, especially good at negotiations and getting matters settled to the satisfaction of the client. What I especially liked about Eric is that he listens and has a conversation with you. He respects your needs and wishes and gets it done. He is an excellent writer, he drafts agreements well, good reviewer and he's thoughtful. What this all means is that he is someone you can trust and get you through your case successfully. I was rear-ended while driving on the 101 freeway in Marin County, California. I sustained neck and back injuries and was not being properly compensated for my medical bills by the at-fault party's insurance company.
I knew I was being treated very poorly by the insurance company, but I did not know who to turn to. Two other attorneys turned me away because my case was not big enough. Eric was then recommended to me by a lawyer friend. I hired Eric and he assisted me quickly and got me the additional monetary compensation that was appropriate.
My experience with Eric was extremely positive because he was personable, easy to talk to and he always returned my calls in a timely fashion. I was at a very low point of my life when I got terminated from a very popular and huge financial institution. I was dealing with major health issues combined with my livelihood being taken from me. Upon my first conversation with Chris, I felt an immediate connection. He not only showed an interest in me but listened to the facts of my case. When I met Chris in person at his office, he was very polite and professional. I think what impressed me the most was his sincere interest in me and how I had been treated by this Company. He looked online and shared with me the labor laws pertaining to my case due to a wrongful termination. Chris explained the legalities of which I was entitled to and explained with a lot of detail what could be ahead of me. He shared with me the anticipated window of time that my case could more than likely take. He provided with me the choices I could/would be presented with as time would take over in my case. Chris always handled my office visits professionally and always offered me coffee, water and even something to eat. His office environment was quite comfortable, clean, and orderly. ......I was a 57 woman with health issues when I lost my job. Robert Aaron assisted me in a wage claim on commissions due in the digital media space. He was generous with his time and expertise...gave me fair and unbiased opinion as the the relative merits of my case and the liklihood of if it was going to trial or settle. It took about 10 months to settle...and involved a settlement conference. He was always prepared and was a calming influence. The end was result was satisfactory. I would recommend him without hesitation.

During the free consultation, Attorney Khadder took the time to understand my case, reviewing all of the relevant documents and weighing the pros and cons of various options. I was in a serious accident in The Mission District (San Francisco) on my bicycle that involved being hit by a car which resulted in paramedics, a major bone break, a major surgery, a multiple nights hospital stay, hardware being placed in my arm, physical therapy, and a follow up surgery (amongst many other headaches and heartaches). I actually turned to my dad (a lawyer himself) to help me find someone to take on my case in San Francisco. He ultimately linked me to Choulos Choulos & Wyle. Claude Wyle gladly took on my case and, I must say, it was the right choice.
As a San Francisco resident who has predominately commuted and gotten around SF on his bicycle since 2006, it was refreshing to be in the hands of a law firm who are fellow cyclists (both pedal- and motor-) who understand bicyclists' rights in the city and the many hazards that are put in front of cyclists in a city full of potential dangers. I had never been in an accident in all of my 15+ years of bicycling in the city so this was uncharted territory for me. Claude and his team were very responsive throughout the process (which dragged due COVID's impact on the world and the legal system). Claude and his team were empathetic, patient, and gave sound advice in response to all of my questions and my occasional anxieties throughout the process.
Claude ultimately helped me settle my case handsomely which was a balm to all the pain and suffering I endured during and after my accident. I will probably always have some difficulties arising from my injury but Claude fighting for a fair settlement made my physical losses a much easier pill to swallow. Claude went above and beyond! He tenaciously fought for me in settling the case with the driver's insurance company and in negotiating bills down with my own medical insurance company to help me maximize my settlement! He's a Bay Area man and was extremely knowledgeable and savvy when it came to navigating the legal system, insurance companies, and my case. I highly recommend Oleg Albert with Le Clerc & Le Clerc. Hands down, there is not a better person qualified to handle a sexual harassments/wrongful termination case around. I want to start by saying; this has been a very interesting and rewarding experience that I wish no one should ever go through. But in the case anyone is faced with an unlawful and injustice situation, it calming to know we can call on Oleg. Back in 2019, I was involved in a lawsuit with my former employer. During this time, it was stressful emotionally and financially not knowing what would come of my case. Oleg and his team did an effective job walking me through the steps from beginning to end. Below, I have identified into three categories that presents my feedback.
Communication/ Responsiveness – Whenever I had a question or the lawsuit advance onto the next stage, Oleg was clear and precise on this delivery of information. This information was prioritized based upon what was relevant or what current concerns were. Oleg is easy to talk to. As he gets to know his clients more during the beginning process, I do see that he adapts his tone, speed, and vocabulary to mirror with his clients’ expectations. He is easily reached by phone, text, or email.
Knowledge/Experience – Good knowledge (including California concentrated) and years of experience in overall employment law segment. During the beginning of my journey, Oleg explained to me how my former employer violated the law in ways that I wasn’t aware of. He ran me through the steps of what should have happened vs what did happen. I value the fact that Oleg will not overpromise the outcome of my case, but gave me possible realistic scenarios even if it sometimes wasn’t in my favor. He did an excellent job explaining to me what to expect as we moved along in the process.
Effort – A lawyer that always has a plan is someone you want in your corner. During my process with Oleg, I felt he did all that was necessary to reach the best possible outcome of my case. He took extra action during the discovery process (took longer than I would like to have) but got all the info to put forth an effective case. She reviewed my case with me and confirmed that she could help me win employment case and it is covered by my insurance. None of that happened. She refused to bill my insurance on my behalf. When pressed, she would do it and I had to pay for extra for billing insurance.
I paid her lots of money and got nothing in return.
