I am very grateful to Ron and his team for handling my workers comp and disability case . For me never in my life dealing with a work injury to this extent was difficult, but Ron and his team answered any questions that I had a long the way. I had never been in a situation where I needed serious guidance on how to navigate the Worker's Compensation and SSDI system after a work injury. Grateful to have found and worked with Attorney Madore. I needed someone patient to help with my SSDI case who was not frustrated by my difficulties with anxiety and cognitive overwhelm due to PTSD and chronic illness. I am glad he was on the other end of the phone for all the information needed. I really did need that help and am grateful to now on the SSDI that I currently need with the least stress possible considering the challenges of the process. Bonita (Bonnie) Porter goes above and beyond to help you with your application for SSDI. This is a challenging process and I know I would not have been able to do this on my own. I could not have had help from a better person. She is friendly to work with and it is obvious this is not just a job for her. She is committed to helping you get the benefits you deserve. I hired Bonita Porter to represent me in trying to obtain SSD. She was such a great help to me, I could contact her at anytime mostly through emails. My partner and I were married in 2013. In 2014 the federal laws changed and I was allowed to sponsor my partner for citizenship. We both felt it would be in our best interest to have a legal representative help request a green card and walk us through all the paperwork and documentation required to expedite the process.
Joe was an asset. Having someone with experience walk us through the process and guide us in what to expect took away most all of the stress. Sometimes having someone who works on your behalf and can give you assurances in time of doubt can help you sleep better at night.
Joe was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. His work was very detailed and organized. The final package was complete enough that it spoke or itself. The immigrations interview was fast and painless. If you are looking for someone to represent your interests and guide you through such a process, I highly recommend giving Joe a call. It’s rare that I give 5 stars across the board, but I was really happy with Joe’s assistance through this.

I will like to start this review by saying that it that it was a great pleasure being a client of The Law Office of Dennis J Ellis. This office kept me informed of everything related to my case step by step. Attorney Ellis took his time to explain the law to me and how the same applied to my case. He litigated my case for a year for a year with great results and proved my scarring with excellent pictures. Attorney Katelyn Burke Mills was invaluable in my process of applying for social Security disability. I would not have been able to navigate the paperwork and appeals process without her patient coaching and persistence in following up needed steps. She took care of many details such as obtaining medical records and filing the appeal forms. I would certainly have given up if it had not been for her encouragement through each step. Katelyn suggested obtaining a cognitive evaluation through my insurance or paying privately. It was not something I would have sought on my own as it is a difficult evaluation. However, that evaluation certainly helped my case. She made sure I was prepared for court so I could participate calmly. I was successfully approved for disability within a surprisingly short overall time frame.
Communication with Attorney Burke Mills was always prompt by phone or email. She checked on my case through court records and updated me with progress and next steps. I would most definitely recommend Attorney Burke Mills to anyone applying for disability.

I was referred to Jason through another attorney and let me tell you, I could not be more pleased. He did an amazing job helping me get guardianship for my 55yr old brother. I had been trying for a few yrs to get this task accomplished.

I don’t know what we would have done without Jason. My husband and I hired Jason to help us obtain guardianship for our disabled daughter who turned 18 years old this past December. From our initial meeting to help us understand what the guardianship process entailed, to our last meeting in court, Jason was an amazing resource and always so patient and understanding…no matter how many questions I had. I am the representative payee for my adult disabled son. After five years of my son being disabled and collecting disability, his Doctor and I received a form to fill out for a medical review to see if he was "still disabled." I filled this out perfectly describing my son's day to day life and impairments. Although I am a medical professional, obviously I did not do this as well as I perceived as just before Christmas 2014, we received a notice stating my son was no longer disabled and his disability payments would stop in two months. Social Security was not at all helpful and gave me the run around re: the appeal process. Sometimes Social Security employees were not nice or helpful. I knew we needed help. I researched disability attorneys and found Jason. All I can say is "Thank God." He met with both of us and asked questions about my son's disability and symptoms. My son and I provided all the answers to the review to him however Jason worded it in the manner that SSDI requires, unlike what I had done in the previous summer. He was kind, patient, and understanding. There were a few times when my emotions got the better of me, "How can they do this to us?" These were the times when Jason stood behind us and helped us stand on our own two feet. He directed us in following the instructions on the appeal as they are not easy to understand, Jason understood exactly what they were and explained them in a manner that was both understandable and helpful, never degrading. On May 6th of this year, I received the notice from disability stating that after reviewing all the information, they found my son to continue to be disabled, therefore there was no need for a hearing. Of course I would prefer my son to not be disabled. However it is what it is and I do not even want to think of how awful this denial could have been without Jason. I wish I had known him and used him to initially get disability for my son back in 2009 as that process was not pleasant and took three denials/appeals. I definitely could not have done this without his help! My husband and I are now going to be using Jason for estate planning and our wills.

I had never hired a lawyer before, so I asked some friends about their lawyers. Two of them said that I should see Roberta, who lives in my town. I was nervous when I called, but her secretary, Jeanne, was very friendly. Jeanne asked me some questions, to make sure that Roberta could handle my case, and set up an appointment. She told me the first consultation was free. When I walked in, there was the cutest dog I have ever seen (he is Roberta's dog). His name is Sam. Jeanne asked me if I was ok with dogs. I was (I have three dogs), so I played with him until Roberta met with me.
Roberta was very friendly and asked a lot of questions about me, my health, my children, and why I was meeting with her. It was very easy to talk to her. I told her I needed a Will. She explained that I should also have a Power of Attorney and Health Care Proxy. She asked me if I was concerned about protecting my house and savings if I had to go into a nursing home. I was glad she asked. I was worried about it, but didn't know how to ask about what I could do. I didn't want the State to take my housel. She told me about MassHealth, a program that pays for the nursing home. She asked if my husband (he died three years ago) was a veteran. When I said that he served in World War II, she said that I could apply for Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits if I needed money to pay home health aides to help me stay in my home. She also explained that if I did no planning, all of my savings and my house could be lost if I had to go into a nursing home. She told me about deeding my house to my children with a life estate for me and setting up a trust that could not be changed. It was a lot of information. Roberta could tell I was confused, so she suggested that we have a second meeting, with my children there. She said that my children would be involved in my estate planning, and they should understand the ways I could protect my house and savings. We had a second meeting with my children at the meeting. After the meeting, we decided that the Trust (an irrevocable trust) was the best way to protect my home and savings.
Roberta sent documents to me and my children with a letter explaining everything. I went over the documents with my children. I didn't understand some of the legal language, but my children did, so I felt good about signing the documents. We had a third meeting. Roberta explained everything again before we signed, to make sure that we understood and then we signed the documents.
I am so glad I called her. I didn't think that an attorney would be that friendly. She did her best to make sure that I (and my children) understood the documents that we were signing. I admit I don't understand everything, but my children do. And I trust Roberta. I feel like that I did the right things to protect my home and my savings.
