Mr.Tanner was my attorney at a very scary time. I was facing up to 10 years in prison for being
involved with wrong people. I was very lucky that he took my case. Howard Tanner is very well respected in his sphere, he knows ins and outs of the system with over 35 years of experience not just as an attorney, but as a prosecutor as well. He treated me with consideration and courtesy. He made me feel mattered! I am very grateful that he was on my side during this horrendous experience giving me his guidance. I feel it’s also important to have someone who has patience to return your calls and emails, explain the process, timeline and manage expectations.
My case ended up being dismissed. I am thankful for every minute I have now as a free person.
I would refer Howard Tanner to anyone who find themselves in a dire situation. Good luck!

Updated review. I cannot stress to anybody reading this enough: who you hire matters and you get what you pay for. Attorney’s have case after case slide across their desk. It’s a job at the end of the day to most. If Aaron Shapiro or the force that is Amanda Schaffer takes your case, TRUST THEM. Full disclosure: I am a nightmare client. On a scale from 1-10, I’m an 11 in terms of annoying. My son is my absolute world. I have been a “white pony” more times than you can imagine. Over-billed. None of it made sense. Those attorneys cared about a paycheck. Aaron and Amanda are not only EXCELLENT attorneys, they’re good people. They have a backbone. Their time is valuable. They’re not cheap. Know that. When your child, freedom, or immigration status is on the line — don’t put it in the hands of someone who treats you like a file. The legal progress is exhausting (mentally and financially — I know it all too well.) It’s unfair. Read that again.

He had me sign the retainer, pay almost $7000 and disappeared. He did not show up in court saying I still had to sign a form. I never received said form and he stopped answering altogether. I cannot believe he would do this to families in need of help.

Not recommended my case is over 5 years long and caused irreversible damage and seems everyone is getting paid ! Except myself lol even those who have zero ties to the case! A billion dollar case and I'll receive 4k!!! Lmao 🤣 communication is horrible no one's ever on the same page! A total circus 🎪 🙄

I'm currently using them as representation for the class action boy scouts of America case there's been extremely low communication between client and attorney I do also understand that they have an enormous clientele but I would like to know what's going on with my case and where it's at in the litigation and like how much longer it's going to be before there's a result but with that said it's my understanding that these guys are the best of the best so I trust that they will continue to fight as they have in the past and I'm sure they will continue to do in the future

Several years ago I suffered an unfortunate accident while traversing the streets of NYC. The incident resulted in severe injuries that landed me in a hospital emergency room in excruciating pain and in a cast for several months thereafter, and a plethora of doctors appointments and follow up visits. The accident definitely limited my ability in getting around and had life long effects that I will now have to bare as a result of the negligence imposed by third parties. I initially gave my retainer to Mr. Simon in Nov. 6th 2023’. After numerous attempts to retrieve my retainer. I received a text message Sunday April 21st 2024 asking if I have Zelle. I assumed I was going to receive my $5000. However it is now June 24th 2024 and have not received a dime. He never filed any paper work for me. I never signed any documents except for the receipt for the initial deposit. All I want is my retainer returned.

Martin Rosen is an excellent attorney, one whom has been there for me throughout not only the worst times in my life, but for the times after. He is attentive, knowledgable, and usage of his services purveys one with a peace of mind that is not readily attainable with less qualified lawyers. He is direct and honest, but compassionate. If you tell Mr. Rosen the actual scenario, he will obtain the best result possible; if you are in a bad place, he will put you in a better one. He is not intimidated by snark nor malice. I have used his services for my own custody issues on multiple occasions and will continue to do so as long as his name rests over his awning.
I have severe concerns regarding the recent one star review (Chris, 2024) and strongly take issue with his brazen mischaracterization of an individual whom has been there for me at my lowest as much as any professional could be asked to. I hope he gets the help he needs, but his review reads as untrue and glib. Though his flat attempts at slander, one can see a truly gauche (nay, entitled?) interior, and I simply cannot understand why someone who clearly never even used Mr. Rosen's services feels entitled to mischaracterize one's business (and thus livlihood) as they did in such a shameful and public manner. I would strongly urge any potential clients to ignore this individual's sentiments entirely.
