I feel quite blessed. I was literally in the last few days before my right to file would have expired. I had met with several of the firms many see on television, and perhaps because it wasn't a "sexy case" none of them signed me. However, when I met with Martha Ramsay she was kind and candid. She took my case, made me feel heard and empowered.
No, it wasn't a huge settlement, but that wasn't all I needed and Ms Ramsay made sure I was able to choose an option that suited me. I was able to choose an option that provides me with after care (once my case is closed).

I had to leave a 5 star review despite never working with Jetton and Meredith. I inquired for their services earlier this afternoon seeking help for an obscure case that happens to be out of their line of practice. However, not only did they promptly respond to me - but had an employee of theirs personally call me and give me a referral phone number where I could possibly find someone to help me. This level of professionalism is greatly noticed having been rudely turned down by several of the “best attorneys in Charlotte.” Any cases I may experience in the future that falls understated their line of practice - best believe I will be giving them my business. Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. He also looked over the settlement agreement I received to make sure it wouldn't mess up any potential social security/disability in the future. Vernon made me feel like he cared and like he wanted the best for me on this settlement and helped me to avoid having to hire a lawyer and drag out the process. I hope I never get hurt on the job again, but if I ever do I will definitely reach out to them again.

I would recommend this law firm to anyone needing a great lawyer for Workmen Comp cases!!! Bob and his team worked long hours and months for me and my husband!! My husband worked at a company for 36 years!! And made him resign after 2 injuries! This was very heartbreaking and wrong in all kinds of ways! It was disappointing to see how my case was handled, especially after I had trusted her to advocate for my best interests. I felt like my concerns were never fully addressed, and the representation I received didn't reflect the seriousness of my situation. While I’m relieved that there was some financial compensation, it was not the outcome I had hoped for. I expected a more thorough approach and better communication throughout the process. Overall, I left feeling undervalued and frustrated, which is why I can only give one star.

I’ve now used Paul twice. He’s been more than just a great lawyer, he’s been like a shark in the very best way. After getting denied for disability on my own. I again went to Paul for help.
