Quite possibly the most frustrating experience with a recruiter I've ever had. Doesn't respond to messages, even though I replied to the questions within 30 minutes. Asked for time to meet and discuss a job, I agreed, then that time came and went with no call. I have no idea why I gave it another shot after that, but I did. I offered several times I was available over several days. We agreed to a day and time, then a day later I get a message claiming they double booked the time. Wait, what? I would strongly caution if you're trying to do business with this company. The recruiter is the first point of contact and first impressions are absolutely everything. What if I were the one carrying on that way? They'd send me a rejection letter!

While other firms have slow and bureaucratic processes for assessing potential cases, when I called Aaron he immediately asked for the details of our case and gave us an appraisal of our legal standing as well as what we could most likely expect from settlement/court(which ended up matching our experience exactly). I was initially referred to Z Wang & Associates in 2013 by a friend of mine. My parents met with Zhidong Wang when he traveled back to China in 2013–2014, and we decided to start the EB-5 process with Z Wang & Associates as our immigration attorneys. We first filed the I-526 in September 2015 and received approval in September 2016. We filed the I-485 in April 2020 and had it approved in July 2022. In May 2024, we filed the I-829 and received approval in December 2024. We are glad that, after this 9-year wait, we have finally completed the entire EB-5 process and had our conditions removed.
Over the years, we worked with Dora Zang, Jamie Hossa, Jeff Cheng, and Zhidong Wang, who were always able to answer our questions whenever we needed help. We truly appreciate their time and assistance over the past nine years! We will contact them again for the N-400 process and any future green card applications for my parents.

After the accident. My husband and I were stresses at the idea of getting legal advice and help for the uphill battle that is liability. My son told us about this law firm and we thought to give them a try.
Not a day goes by that we aren't greatful for their intervention. Everytime we came for our appointment we were treated almost like family. The atmosphere and the lawyers treated us so familiar, and the food they served us was delicious. Personally the therapy sessions the insurance got us from our accident were perfect. I still do the exercises from the appointments at home and they have greatly improved my overall physical health since. I have had this group since early last year to help with a disability case, I was assigned one attorney then was handed another shortly after who did absolutely nothing it seems. I was never contacted for any updates and when I was it was because I had to write several emails or leave messages. I'm still waiting for disability and haven't heard nothing from this supposed attorney in the last couple of months. Don't hire them as they'll only waste your time.

Being a nurse with the same company for 28 plus years, I thought I was secure in my job. Through good and bad, we banded together to take care of our patients. I worked my way into management and was proud of my staff and my company. Until I became the patient.
Getting hurt on the job at first seemed like an untimely inconvenience. I was confident that I could get fixed and then back to my job. I was wrong. I was blocked at every direction by workers comp; jumping through hoops and not knowing which way to turn. I would be in literal tears with the case worker begging for them to do something to stop the pain, to please help me. I may as well have been talking to a rock.
When all else failed and I thought I was going to hurt forever, I found Jack Cannon and his team. To say I was blessed would be an understatement. His knowledge and background in navigating through the legal and emotional aspects of a workplace injury is second to none. He made sure we had money coming in, helped get me second opinions for the surgery I desperately needed, and was there for me every step of the way. He made the whole process easy and ensured I was taken care of. He and his team are easy to talk to and showed a level of compassion that impressed this nurse.
The two biggest things I learned:
1. It doesn’t matter how long you have been with a company, workers comp is like any other business and they are not on your side.

Doug Johnson requested a $5k retainer to perform services for my company. After several months - Doug Johnson informed us that he doesn't have the skillset to present motions in court, and that he primarily only works on settlements. He told us he was not willing to take the matter further. He refused to provide a log of hours worked on request, and kept the $5k retainer. As an attorney myself, I would recommend highly that anyone seeking assistance look elsewhere for a more skilled attorney.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Brian Hurst and his partner, Ms. Olga Allen, for the past eight years. I hired them to handle a very contentious divorce, and it was the best decision I ever made. After experiencing frustration with two ineffective and non-transparent lawyers, working with Olga and Brian restored my faith that lawyers can be trusted, compassionate, and genuinely committed to their clients' best interests rather than financial gain.
Ms. Allen carefully prepared the documents for our numerous court appearances, while Mr. Hurst presented and litigated the case. Their work was exemplary—organized, thorough, and meticulously detailed. Mr. Hurst's presentations to the judges (even through several changes) were clear, data-driven, convincing, eloquent, and highly effective.
When the first court decision was appealed by the opposing side, Mr. Hurst and Ms. Allen once again collected relevant facts, prepared detailed written presentations, and engaged in skillful court negotiations, resulting in a favorable judgment from the Appeal Court.
