Outstanding Divorce/Child Custody Lawyer – Highly Recommend!
My case involved a divorce with children, filed by my ex-husband who lives in Ohio, while I reside in Minnesota. Despite my ex-husband and his lawyer insisting that the case should include child custody and be handled in Ohio, Catherine, who was well-versed in child custody laws, raised a key issue: under the UCCJEA (Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act), Ohio did not have jurisdiction over the children. The opposing party continued to push for a trial involving both the divorce and child custody in Ohio, even though this was legally improper. Ultimately, Catherine and I prevailed, as it was determined that Ohio lacked jurisdiction over the children under the UCCJEA. As a result, the divorce was finalized without any decisions made about custody, which would be addressed in Minnesota instead.
I am so grateful for the exceptional legal support I received from Catherine during my divorce. I did not have a great experience with Gregory Williams. Just finalized my probate case after 3 years after the the loss of my mom. He was not a good legal counsel and the only thing he did on my behalf was file the paperwork and set up zoom calls. I could have done all this on my own. My sister and I had our own attorney's because we could not agree on things but when it came to Gregory fighting for me he was never able to come through there was always an excuse. My sister took everything out of our mom's house and never did he discuss with me because I was also co-executor I could remove things as well it was excuse after excuse. In the end my sister's attorney was the winner. I felt like Gregory was only concerned about the $$$ and definitely did not look out for my best interest. With that being said I ended up with nothing BUT attorney fee's. I had to pay for his attorney fee's and his new law firm which he moved there toward end of 2023 and their expenses were more than Gregory and had never spoke with anyone there or agreed to their fees since initially started out with Gregory. What I received from my experience is that moving forward this will NEVER happen to my two daughters. Attorney's care nothing about your loss or your grief. At least this law firm. He never had my back for me! Every request I asked for never honored always dismissed. Gregory ended up being more expensive than my sister's attorney and he did more on this probate than Gregory!! Just a joke overall!

Shame on these guys when i randomly happened to stumble in one day cause i had the wrong building and law firm their front desk person knew what she was doing even though she was kind enough to tell me I had the wrong building she was the one who was smart enough to start trapping me into conversation to where after a little bit this attorney oh I’m sorry wrong term overpowered legal idiots cause that’s what all of them pretty much are nowadays came out started talking like a shark to me and then after a little bit cause I was smart and left cause I knew it wasn’t worth the energy followed me and told me never to come back again and of course the guy looked like a real winner and just like the rest of them cause he thought he was wearing a nice shirt and dress pants and a tie that he thinks he knows everything when he doesn’t and that tie I mean really seriously the thing looked so outdated it’s not even funny this is why I will never trust him or anyone like him ever again and maybe I’ll figure out how to report this business and him and just like the rest of them when they constantly think cause their legal big shots they can do whatever they want yet their messing with someone who not only has a disability but back in May was deemed in bad psychical health this is what sickens me when we let people nowadays get into positions of power and not hold them accountable or reliable period! I hope that guy learns someday and eventually gets paid back by a power even higher than him and I will never trust anyone with that title ever again cause all they do is dishonor it big time shame on them!

They were not courteous or kind to me. The lady was somewhat rude and condescending towards me. Didn't even bother to look up the health complaint herself she made me find and email it to her even after giving her the tracking number for it, she didn't offer to help at all. And then wanted to tell me I have a time-line to file a suit... which I already knew from talking to previous attorneys I decided to not even go through with this firm because her attitude. Best of luck to everyone else trying to get justice for a lost parent.

Mr. Gill, at first was my Johnny Cochran, but as the case progressed he just seemed to loose interest in the work. He is very witty, smart, and knowledgable about the law. He needs to take a break from the stress of the work and recollect himself and come back in the Johnny Cochran mode. He is a very good person, and will do anything to help you, but right now he is not on his game. Much love goes out to him for his efforts, and dedication. Get it together and come back as a stronger, more competent,voice for the people you represent.

I was being represented in court by Donna Mayor she had done nothing for me in court. She was rude and not willing to listen to a word on my case. She didn't even look at my paperwork or evidence in my favor. It wasn't that I didn't want to pay I just didn't agree with all the fees and being charged 3x my rent amount. I had recieved rental assistance for which my landlord only applied 2 months. He applied the rest to unreasonable charges which was thousands of dollars. I even wanted to represent myself but she discouraged me with her actions and bullying. A man named Chris who works there was trying to find information in regards to my funds from the city and what they were for. she started throwing paper at him and belittling him. Now I have no one to help me. Donna just wanted me to settle so she can go on about her day doing nothing or just as okay with me being evicted. She seemed more representing of my landlord then me. When i explained the behavior to her supervisor it was said she was a good attorney. Talking about accountability. Please if your are desperate don't go to this agency they will make sure your family becomes homeless and humilate you while in the process too. I cannot believe the government funds this agency to ruin lives and collect money.

this attorney has the rudest front desk male rep. He kept losing my file and couldnt remember my payments or things we talked or done even a day before. I was able to speak to the attorney only 1 time. she wasnt receptive. She behaved as if she was too important for me. her front desk toldme last minute that she said that she couldnt take my case. later i found out the reason she stated for not taking my case was was totally OFF. OVER 5 other attorneys during FREE consultation gave me better information about my case. when i called back to let them know my findings her front desk started yelling . The divorce process is very stressful and the interaction with this attorney making the situation 100 TIMES more stressful and she has not even started the case! therefore i am looking for another attorney. smh
