Been handling my case since 1999, and have been able to get every medical expense, and most disability issues resolved. They have always gotten what was requested, and gave fair advice to myself. The only complaint that I would have is their time to get back to someone regarding their case. Occasionally this is delayed due to various reasons.

My mother, in a psychologically fragile state, prior to her suicide, was convinced by this lawyer that he would take care of her affairs and her children after her death. This lawyer then stole tens of thousands of dollars ($) from her estate by charging per hour, dragging the estate out for over 3 years and encouraging the executor to hold an auction losing additional tens of thousands of dollars ($). Also, several properties were listed below fair market value losing additional tens of thousands of dollars ($) because he convinced the executor that the estate needed liquidity, i.e. he needed to get paid now. I would not recommend at all. All told I believe that he charged over $200k in fees. He built his practice on taking advantage of us and others. If I could sue I would, but he convinced the executor to sign an agreement that no legal action could be taken against him or the practice.

If you want a lawyer who shakes in court, can’t answer questions the judge asks, overcharges you, doesn’t communicate when they make decisions days before a court appearance and your lawyer doesn’t appear or call to let you know they are sending someone else, neglects to listen, or appropriately respond to billing questions then these are the Lawyers for you! I wanted to like them and thought my case was pretty straightforward, however, instead of just worrying about my case I have been worrying about the terrible services provided by Colwell and what they will do next to disappoint.

I was stabbed at my job with a 14 inch sushi knife by my boss the cut through my fingers and tendons!Long story short Antonio J.Otero said if I ended up with loss of function he would help in getting awatd.Later after he says he never stated that. Looking through old paperwork I find from they're office,Lauren N.Rivera settlement paralegal sends me a letter stating that once I have reached maximum medical improvement and may be entitled to an award for loss of function known as a schedule loss of use award!Antonio knew that from Doctor Douglas Schwartz that I have lost 50 percent of function and suffer from nerve damage!Was in the hospital for 4 days fighting the infection!Was never taking seriously at this place,DISGRACE!!!!

The intake staff named Miguel Diaz was the worst!!!! His verbal tic was not only dismissive, condescending and unprofessional, but he was wasting other peoples' time. I should of listened to my gut and hung up on him earlier on in the phone call. He doesn't let you speak to the attorney at all and demands in CAPS in an email that he wants you to send him all medical reports/clinical summaries with no HIPPA release form. I think he has some form of Tourettes Syndrome. For instance, he could not stop saying "oK!?" at the end of each sentence that does not warrant it. Honestly, it is very hard to listen to someone who dismisses the listener each time. I have his voice recordings on audio, and it is very hard to listen to with his rude tone and demeanor — if I could attach his audios for everyone to listen to, I would have done it by now. Because the things he preaches to you about is quite manipulative and does not go anywhere. It's better to find someone else.

If I could give -5 review, I would. They were paid to serve a party summons for State Supreme Court in Niagara County. They purport to have served the party, and emailed a copy of the service. Niagara County does not accept emailed copies. I repeatedly asked them to provide me the original ASAP, they said they would mail it, but never did. I had to hire a real process server. I suspect they never served the documents and that's why they failed to produce the affidavit. UPdate - I told them I'm reversing the charge and then the affidavit was mailed to me, however it did not bear the same signature as the one emailed to me. I paid them to serve another party who moved from the local address. I acquired the new address, which is out of state, asked them to mail the notice, and they claim it isn't legal to do so. I had to provide the the NY law that said it is legal, and they argued with me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE, NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS

I had to have my grandsons father served for back child support and because he lives in a different county, the Niagara County court couldn't serve him, it was up to me. In the past his girlfriend would say he didn't live there so I had to come up with an alternative plan. I hired WNY Process and couldn't be happier! Service was great and reasonable. I have been with Sawer & Sackel for 3 separate workers comp claims and have been very unsatisfied until recently. Up until Holly took ownership in my cases I was left wondering what was going on. I was the one that had to initiate any and all inquiries into correspondences from the insurance carrier. And I rarely spoke with a lawyer and it was Never the same individual. Since working with Holly things have change my thinking entirely. She has taken ownership in my case and has gone above and beyond my expectations (or at least what my expectations of a law firm should be) and have reaffirmed my choice in a workers compensation law firm. Holly will initiate and follow up on all inquiries and respond in a timely manner. I have enjoyed working with her and look forward to a positive outcome in my pending cases.
