Peter McMahon is a fantastic attorney! I had no idea just how good he was until recently when he could not take my case and I had to use another attorney, whom is useless! he answers the phone he has a legal demeanor professional facts non-discriminatory no hidden agenda starting out with good rates but he's probably been a lawyer for 15 or 20 years reminds me of the kind of person that you'd be lucky to get through your Legal Aid Society but he has a wife and kids and he's a family man he's even driven me to court when I couldn't find a ride he does things outside the box that are illegal but he doesn't have to and its not like we were friends it was like he was so professional and he's fighting for himself and his career and I want to fight around my side something that stays up at night and researches my case undivided attention and he 1100 the big law firms couldn't because he put himself through law school they didn't know who he was that was our advantage and he gave me advice that was in the best interest of me he has no hidden agenda he obviously is very anti insider dealing you'd be surprised at the relationship between lawyers defendants prosecutors and judges he's not on any of their radar if you're the least bit paranoid talk to him and listen and this is the first review I've written for anybody he doesn't know I'm writing this but he deserves it and I'm not currently his client he helped me 10 years ago nobody else could have seen what he saw who is obviously he works hard at it

It’s very frustrating being at the mercy of a doctor “paid” by a large insurance company.

Let’s just say they made things difficult for me during a very tough period of my life.
A permanent disability changes everything in your life. Everything that you planned for in your future is altered. The insurance company’s job is to exhaust your resolve.
Heather’s aim was not only to protect me from their efforts to exhaust me but keep me from doubting myself. “If nothing else, I am famous for feeling like it’s all my fault”.
My mantra has always been?… “It must’ve been something that I caused”. I would convince myself that it was my fault.
Well!… I was not at fault... It was not my fault!!
My company’s safety record was deplorable. I am not the first employee injured permanently when working for this company. Unfortunately? I’m pretty sure that I won’t be the last.
Heather made sure that I was treated fairly and with the respect I certainly deserved. From the insurance company that represented my company and the company itself. The same company that’s negligence injured me in the first place.

In the fall of 2015, I suffered a crush injury on a construction site in NYC. I was taken on by what is considered one of the top law firms in the North East. 6 months into my case, they dropped me citing the difficulty in winning my case. The Perecman Firm looked over my case and eagerly took it on. From day 1 they coordinated all of my case needs. All of my follow up doctor visits and Independent Medical Examiner appointments were over seen and documented by their group of experts. Ed Guldi walked my case through the red tape of NYS Workers Comp and Silvana Leone navigated me through the incredibly arduous path of obtaining SSDI like she wrote the code! Every T was crossed and every I was dotted!
As for case itself, Steven Dorfman nailed it… not only did he win, his filings and oral arguments resulted in the case receiving summary judgement and I never stepped foot in a courtroom! His work was so convincing and thorough that he left opposing council no alternative than to settle and he over-performed again negotiating a settlement beyond my wildest expectations!

This has to be one of the absolute worst firms in the entire city. My mother was hit by a car and in a case that should have taken months to resolve had taken over two years to settle. The communication from them was non existent, and representation was atrocious. I implore anyone who cares for their family members to look for different services than this firm. Please heed this warning as it will save you time, money and actual representation. They charged my mother 33% for absolutely nothing. No follow up, no guidance absolutely nothing. You’d have better chances representing yourself. Good luck to anyone of you who decide to deal with this horrible law firm.
