In September of 2010 I was falsely accused of " theft three", a misdemeanor crime, by my employer. At 50 plus years of age I had never been accused of any crime so I was scared and humiliated. My plea was of course "not guilty". After my first meeting with Lauren, I knew I was in good hands and that having her on my side was a blessing. My trial was in March 2011 with a jury of 6 and I was acquitted and all charges were dropped. I have Lauren to thank!! She is smart, resourceful, very knowledgeable, professional and an excellent litigator, but as important as these attributes are for an attorney, she also possesses a remarkable calm, confidence & kindness. Nathan Goin was outstanding! Me and my wife went to see him for a consultation and after speaking with him for just a few minutes, we knew we wanted him to represent us. My case involved a lot of lost time, medical expenses and the possible loss of a career. Things got rough for a moment and his advice came from the point of view of what’s best for my family and career, but then he successfully negotiated not only an extremely fair and healthy settlement for my situation, but was able to keep my licensing and education relevant for future employment endeavors also. I'm so sorry you have personal injury legal problems, I've been there. And I whole-heartedly recommend you let Walsh and Associates take care of your legal mess.
The team at Walsh and Associates secured the maximum awards possible after my head-on collision with an uninsured drunk driver.
To be clear, I got damaged and good. I had multiple surgeries, then they moved me to a hospital closer to home. There were doctors for this injury and other doctors for that one, over a dozen therapists and more than a year in rehabs before I was out of a wheelchair and on my own again.
I'd never needed so much help and been so ill-equipped to handle it. The injuries, the paperwork, the bills, and the fallout from suddenly NOT working, all complicated the flurry of choices that had to be made. Turning over the entire legal/medical/insurance snowball over to Rich at Walsh and Associates was a big relief, but a leap of faith.
The team collected all the data, kept on top of my progress and periodically checked in with me by telephone just to see how I was doing. I can't put a price on that one: I genuinely felt that they cared. When the time came to negotiate the settlements, the team returned the lowball offers and came back with a much better settlement.

This five star isn't meant to say there is not room to improve, as in my observation they have reach further & a 6th Star could be given for efforts they made. Know from the starting point for me I was made comfortable by Mr. Waksh & June,. From the first day i was seated over looking the lake. As I try to give then the informations, needed to start this claim,. It was a long time from start to finish, Yes a new language & the meaning of what happen next, the how to do what's next, with why it happens. Yes somethings i did not know the why's till they explained how this is the way it is. Im so thankful how Jill did lead me to understand the next step to move in the direction we were seeking together, all those that assisted in the office, if the answer was not known, it would be found. With answers to the many questions i ask. Oh of the patients they had as the same question was asked more then once by me. Now i can lol as the kindness was overwhelming to me. All things being put together as first things first, oh sometimes second things came first. somehow it all fit by the end of where each day took me to move in better understaning. Along with my responsibilities in collecting bits of information to have yet another question answered. Oh this auto accident did major body injury, to me and this law firm has the insight with all these problems to find a way for what i see as the best outcome. I'm thankful they gave more in compassion & kindness, that the money to cover medical bill, came second when asking how i am i doing. Yes the answers to complete this claim came, to success in the balance to care for my health. Some how with the negotiations, I was given more then I could have expected.

I had one issue and it does not relate to the service I received. I was not thrilled to have an additional client fee on top of the attorney fees. The client fee for a total of $600 is not “ chump change.”

I was in need of a real estate attorney and was referred by a friend.
I had an offer accepted on a home and all was well, then we found out from the title company that the home had a Covenant, Condition, and Restriction with the deed. I have purchased homes in the past and the rules in the covenant sounded similar to an HOA which made me nervous. I was able to reach out to Soran Law, get some time scheduled, share the CC&R ahead of time, and had an attorney review it, then met and reviewed the covenant and informed me of what power it had/didn’t have.

I had the absolute pleasure of retaining Chandler Wren and Jason Short as my attorneys regarding some very serious charges. Despite my innocence, I know that the justice system has its many flaws and having never navigated it before, I was very worried regarding how to go about it. I was directed to have an initial consultation with Chandler and I'll be honest, even that was nerve wracking to think over. However, nearly immediately after speaking with her, I could see the haze of worry begin to fade and found a clear light in the midst of the chaos. My fears and anxiety could only be described as melted away the moment I saw and heard the expertise she brought to the table. I can tell you with absolute confidence that she is a FIGHTER! I requested a copy of police records. His secretary and himself said police don't make reports. I called Warrenton OSP and they sent me report no problem. He was talking figures. (Money) I was saying I'm not settling on anything til I get more medical treatment. The shyster called me and resigned from the case. There shysters!

I was rear ended and wanted representation. Having worked in the Auto Insurance Industry, I knew that the Ins. companies job is to pay as little as possible for my injuries and didn't care about me. We had a very bad experience with Mr. Hwang. This was the only appointment we had with him. I think he is impersonal, angry, self absorbed and not patient.
What do people need when they are going through the worst of their lives? -Patience, kindness and awareness of other people’s feelings, as death can be devastating for the family and friends.
Knowledge without these traits is like getting a big enciclopedia.

Jinoo Hwang was referred to me by another lawyer who recommended him for his skills in creating a trust that was more useful for me because it was applicable in all 50 states and not just one. Jinoo's knowledge of recent changes in trust laws were invaluable in creating a trust which is inclusive of my estate but also allows me the flexibility to designate specific things to individuals in the event of my passing. The final piece that I was impressed with was the succession of trustees and the inclusion of a third party to act as the trustee in case of need. All trustees are fiduciary and charged with administering the trust in my best interest. This final piece afforded me much peace of mind. I recommend Jinoo's services in this manner.

I was referred to Ralph about an auto accident claim from another professional. Ralph took a number of weeks to respond to my initial contact and asked that I send him over all the information from my case. After receiving this he told me he'd get back to me by the end of the week.
4 weeks later he left me a VM saying he couldn't take my case. He asked that I call him back so we could talk about it a bit more and I tried calling and e-mailing to get a hold of him and he completely ghosted me and never responded again. I work in the professional services industry and this is a huge RED FLAG and terrible professionalism. I caution anyone looking for an attorney to avoid engaging his services and find a professional who will actually communicate like one.

So incredibly glad that I stumbled upon Colin Hackett on Avvo when I did. Long story short, I had gotten a worker's comp claim denied by Saif because of a poorly conducted IME, even though I had several doctors who knew what was going on with my wrist, and also agreed it was work related. Colin was able to get letters from the doctors I'd seen, and was able to make a good case for me. And in doing so, I got a good settlement out of it. I have been sent to him by the Oregon Bar a few times. When I contact him he agrees my case is horrific and awful and people should not be treated this way and my case is strong, etc. However, he refuses to accept the case saying he is too busy. When the truth is told my case will not bring him enough money (according to other lawyers). He only takes rich cases and leaves the rest of us to rot.
