I had the wonderful experience of having Charles W. Smith as my lawyer. When I tell you the attention the detail and the kindness that he puts out was absolutely amazing.
Anytime I would call I was always greeted by Gina Amat & Rebeca McCormack. They really take care of their clients and completely listen to any issues or concerns you have. Whether I emailed them or called them I always got a response.
This is a no fool around law firm, they are there to get the job done and make sure their clients are taken care. I did not feel like a client to them, I felt like I was somebody that they truly cared about and they wanted to make sure that I was happy by the end results.
I would recommend them to anybody that I know because I know that they would be in great hands. If they could write a handbook on how respectable, honest and hardworking that they all are and have the other law firms use that as a guide, then I believe all lawyers would have five-star reviews.

Mr Smith is by far the BEST lawyer I have dealt with in every aspect of the way. Between his values on client satisfaction and his dedication to his cases on an individual bases shows that not only is he a very personable man but a highly professional one as well. While most lawyers I took the time to visit In reference to my case, I was always looked at as a difficult situation and possibly too much work to handle. I’m laments terms if it was too much work they didn’t take the case. Mr Smith not only took my case but won it in such a short amount of time. James kept us very in the loop, always up to date on changes within our case. If we had any questions on the process or what something meant he had a way of using layman's terms that made it easy for us "non lawyers" to understand. James still is a point of contact for us when we have any questions regarding our auto insurance policy, when we're not sure what exactly covers what, as it can be complicated.
Also, our case was completed with settlement in five months, our accident was in September and settlement was given in January. My sister has an ongoing case that has lasted a year now and I told her she should have hired a better lawyer like I did! I couldn't be anymore satisfied after a stressful accident James got us justice for all the damages we sustained not only with our vehicle but with our lives (time out of work, medical bills, injuries overall). We hired this firm in January 2022 for a slip and fall. Needless to say we are still fighting and not 100% due to the defendant. We have had 5 or 6 attorneys since that time. My 81 year old mother has been passed around like stale bread no one wants. If you didn't want the case why did you take it? We finally got a good attorney who was making progress and we were in pre settlement. Haven't heard from them in 4 weeks so she decided to call. Attorney we had left the firm and no one bothered to be professional and notify her. Called many times yesterday only to get a case worker who answers the phone and get the run around. You are a nobody to this firm unless they can make a million dollars from your case. Do not hire them for anything. They take your money so Dennis can make billboards on a Harley.

After my adult son was in a near-fatal fiery crash, Mike Reese was outstanding in representing him for Social Security benefits, quickly moving his case to a successful SSI hearing.
I was unaware the action of the Social Security Administration from the hearing to actually awarding benefits could take many months. However, when evaluating the attorney who put the process in motion for the client, I could have not been more pleased than I was with the Michael Reese Law Firm.
Unfortunately, after his approval, my son had a misstep which could have caused him to lose all benefits, but Mike immediately filed an appeal. He successfully explained my son’s misunderstanding and had his benefits reinstated.

I had the unfortunate experience of being rear ended and injured in a car accident last spring. I started out trying to resolve my injury claim with a ‘big box’ attorney but ultimately I just felt like a number to them which left me feeling even more overwhelmed with the complicated process of paperwork and doctor appointments.
