I am very displeased with John Crone. I hired him in 2022 to take on a probate case and have been disappointed with the lack of communication. I have been trying to run him down only to get brushed off every time. I have emails stating that due to the amount of assets my father has this would be a couple month long case. I have been so stressed out due to lack of communication and being in the dark about everything that I have started seeking therapy. I go through the reviews and notice that those that are very pleased with his work have the opposite ethnicity of me. I want to put into perspective that he was paid up front exactly what he asked for and has been dragging my case for almost 2 years. He says my case is unique and promises to get back with information and never does. This has added unbelievable stress to me. I would not recommend him to any African American people. This already bad situation has gotten worse. I pray he finally gets back to me because it does not take months and months to answer questions or acknowledge my concerns.

I contacted the Michael Reese Law Firm after my adult son was involved in a near-fatal car accident. I spoke with Nanette Cruz regarding representing him for Social Security benefits. Nanette assured me she was very confident my son would qualify for benefits and then moved quickly to schedule his case for what turned out to be a successful SSI hearing.
The Social Security Administration process from hearing to actually awarding benefits can take many months. However, when evaluating the attorney who put the process in motion, I could have not been more pleased than I was with Nanette.
Unfortunately, after he received approval, my son had a misstep which could have caused him to lose all benefits, but Nanette immediately filed an appeal. She successfully explained my son’s misunderstanding and had his benefits reinstated.
I could not be more grateful for Nanette’s original success and then for her expertise that saved my son’s benefits. My son’s life has been tremendously improved and we will never be able to thank her enough. She is an exceptional attorney who cares greatly about the welfare of her clients. If you hire this attorney, prepare to be manipulated, lied to and played games with. You will leave messages for your attorney, because everybody is busy when you call. I left messages for a week before someone called me back and was told they had problems with their answering service. I was told the check is in the mail, after 6 days of not getting it, I finally had to threaten calling the bar association just to speak with someone, who then said, that person who was supposed to send it was out of town... I believe that would give you any garbage statement to shut you up and get off the phone. Personally, I will never use this firm again nor will i recommend anyone to them.

My wife was rear ended and hurt her back and neck. The first lawyer assigned by Morgan and Morgan was Cindy Lambert. She told my wife they were going to get her $150,000 at least. They sent her to Dr's for about 2 weeks. Then she said to immediately stop going to the Dr's and they would only be getting $10,000. At that point I emailed Cindy and John Morgan stating how disappointed we were with how things were going. The next day my wife was assigned another lawyer from the Morgan and Morgan cache of lawyers. Scott Cronin proceeded to send my wife to the Dr again and the scans showed damage to her neck and back. A week later Cronin said the insurance agency was only allowed to pay so much. They did not fight for my wife at all. They gave her $9k and that was it. They say in the commercials they will fight for you, that is a bunch of crap. I would never use them again or tell any one I know to use them. The last thing they did was hold back the payment of her money for 3 weeks out of spite it seems.
