What you won't find is a modern, polished office full of stuffy people. What you will find is a highly competent staff and a remarkable and seasoned attorney who will be determined to get you every penny that your injury is worth. Don't let his casual demeanor fool you, this attorney knows what he's doing and when it comes to handling the law and the other side, he is anything but casual. I was angry at what I was dealing with when I walked into his office and expected very little because that was what I had been getting since my injury. I learned quickly to expect the unexpected with this law office and I was pleasantly shocked and surprised at the final outcome.

I worked w/ Dennis Stout as my attorney, though I met w/ Jim first, as his firm came recommended to me by another attorney as "the gold standard" for their services. I could not have been more pleased with the work they did for me, and the results. Dennis and his associates had to follow many paper trails and deal with J&J attorneys that made this particular case a miasma of processes to figure out. I am SO glad I did not make a "class action" choice. Dennis was quite accessible and the lengthy process was always fully explained. It took time but was ultimately worth it. I highly recommend the firm.

I was very lucky to have Mr. Ochoa represent me on my workers compensation claim. Unlike other attorneys I have dealt with in the past, Mr. Ochoa made himself available to answer all my questions and explained to me the process of workers compensation at every stage of my case. Even though the insurance company had denied my claim he believe in me and took my case to trial and won. After trial, he got me very good settlement that helped me get back on my feet.

Mr. Kennedys team worked hard on my case like I was a family member. He even showed up at one of my Doctors appointment for support. I was involved in a car accident. Rear ended on the frwy while all other cars had stopped except the two cars behind me. I was hit by someone going at 60 miles and I was at a dead stop. Mr. Kennedy ensured my health was priority then my car was repaired and my settlement was obtained. His team worked hard to negotiate and his secretary Jessica is a pit bull. Wow where do I begin? My husband was hurt doing his job and It’s been a 7 year roller coaster from Hell ever since. Dealing with the workers comp Doctors was a joke , they don’t care about you . He went through two attorneys with the second one being Raj Patel . The moment we signed with RP Law Group we felt confident as they began sending my husband out to different doctors in our area and we actually felt the ball was rolling. Even though the ball was rolling it still was a long process due to the insurance company dragging their feet the whole time . Our youngest was a baby when this whole thing started and now she’s in second grade ! We can finally say it’s over and move on with our lives. My Husband signed his settlement papers yesterday ! Mr. Carnero was hired as my attorney when I was being charged with street terrorism (gang enhancement) and did marvelous job. Before taking my case he came to visit me at West Valley and assured me that he would get my charges dropped and that's exactly what he did. I was then able to get a reduced sentence. Well worth the money.

We had paid Mr. Carnero to help with expungement of a case from 1998. Over the course of about 3 years, we are still in the same spot from which we started. He would come back with reasons he could not do it, and every time we would provide information showing we had fixed what he asked. He stated that there was a warrant which we knew nothing about. It was paid that day and he would still say that it was not completed when he had the receipt in his file. When we went in the last time, he pointed the blame at us stating that we had not called, and we took too long. This was after failed appointments on Mr. Carnero's behalf and not returning calls as well. He didn't have the case information in front of him, so when we reminded him of the case he didn't look up once from his phone. What was more important that your client that you could not put your phone away for 5-10 minutes?? He then kicked us out of his office since he clearly had no answers for us. He has taken our money and never completed what was asked of him. He will not sign a substitution of Attorney form nor provide us our case file. We will be filing a direct complaint with the California State Law Board as well. He is extremely rude and incompetent in performing the task in which he claims he can do for his clientele. Save your money and DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!

I would recommend going by yourself before hiring this attorney, He does not communicate nor does he do what he tells you he is going to do. They do not return calls, and when you call they usually say they are with a new client. He has excuses for everyone except for his own lack of actions. He did not even file an appeal for permanent disability judgement that was based on a report over a year+ prior to getting surgeries approved , I had been out of the hospital for only 9 days from having Lumbar L4-L3 surgery and had cervical surgery on C6-C7 only 10 weeks prior to that. He did not help when the insurance company was denying medications and treatments, updating the claim or when there was a report that was not correct. He just blames Arnold Schwarzenegger for the corrupt system we currently have now . His staff is just as lackadaisical as he is. Please pray for this man, as his judgement day is going to be harsh.

Mr Irwin represnted me in a Workers Compensation case, againt my employer, the largest WC carrier in California. Mr. Irwin was upfront with me about everything and gave my case his best attention to detail and got me the best settlement possible. As a senior adjuster I had worked with many attornies in Riversie and San Bernardino County, so choosing Mr. Irwin was an easy choice-he is honest, trustworthy, and has the best and most responsive staff. Mr Irwin is a respectful man who does his job with the utmost concern for his client, not the insurance company who is trying to save a dime at every turn. I would highly recommend him to anyone who had a legitimate injury.
