I contacted Tenge Law Firm to handle my personal injury case after I was involved in a car accident in Windsor, CO on the way to work in September 2022. The other driver was immediately found to be 100% at fault which made my case straightforward, but Todd and Nina made the whole process seamless, getting incredible results. After almost a year of suffering from debilitating hip pain post-accident and being told by doctors that I just had soft tissue injuries, Todd encouraged me to get hip MRIs and see an orthopedic surgeon before settling my case. Thank goodness because I ended up needing two major hip repair surgeries. After going through the two surgeries, my case value increased substantially so I'm thankful Todd looked out for my well-being before settling. I found Jim by accident while "googling" "NM ski laws". The firm name showed up on a document explaining what I had "googled". I also asked an attorney friend of mine for a recommendation. I talked to each of the 3 names I was given. One said I needed someone with much experience in ski law and the other two were not impressive. So, I contacted Jim Chalat and from our first conversation, I knew he was the one to represent my wife. He was very familiar with NM ski law even though from the beginning he told us that he could not go to court in NM but would direct the case with a local attorney of his choosing. We engaged him to represent my wife and we were very pleased with his expertise in skiing, knowledge of NM ski law and in negotiating with the potential defendants insurance company. He was up front with us every step of the way. He got us what we thought was a reasonable recovery given that my wife decided that she did not want to go to court. We hope never to need his services again but would not hesitate to engage him in the future should the need arise.

Jon took on my case after I was already 1 1/2 years into my claim. Most of the funds in my case were already depleted. My case/injury was small in comparison to most other cases but that didn’t matter! I was always given the attention and effort that I needed. Any phone call that couldn’t be answered immediately, was always returned, even if Jon was done for the day and driving home. He never left me hanging. The staff was always professional and I wrapped up my claim feeling as satisfied as I could be considering the details of my claim. I would whole heartedly give my recommendation for Boesen Law!

Mr Bussey is a excellent choice. He started working my case immediately. His expertise and reputation lead the DA to immediately drop my case and it was dismissed with prejudice. When the military picked up my case he recommended a military lawyer who fought my case in court and I was acquitted of all charges. Do not hesitate to retain Mr Bussey. I hired Tim Bussey to represent me in a difficult matter. He was very proactive with the court, straightforward, and always available to talk when needed. His advice to me was spot on and he negotiated a better deal for me than I ever thought possible. Tim knows all the right people in the courtroom, including DAs and judges, and is well respected. In my opinion, it is absolutely critical to have a local attorney who knows that particular court system and Mr Bussey knows it better than anyone. I had a Careless Driving charge, in which I showed up for my first appearance by myself. The DA, wanted to give me a deferred sentence and in return he wanted 4 hours of Traffic School and 25 Hours of Community Service.
I said no and scheduled it for a Trial Preparation and a Jury Trial. I was in over my head, so I got on Avvo and found Mr. Bussey and hired him.
Mr. Bussey. was able to Plea Bargain it to a Deferred Sentence, so that it wouldn't show up on my record.
In return I did a 4 Hour Master Drive Class and Paid $150 plus Court Costs - $212.50 No Community Service. I was ecstatic!
If your life is on the line, you wan't an experienced Trial Lawyer who's name is well respected in the Legal Community, so you don't have to go to trial!
He got it resolved quickly and efficiently and this is all behind me now.
I thank God and I Thank Mr. Bussey.
When your life is on the line, don't take chances - Hire the best in Colorado!

Mr. Laski was very informative in my case and helped walk me through the entire process of my case, he gave me detailed invoices on what and why I was being charged and also helped lower some of my costs on things I could do on my own which was very helpful. He spent a lot of time going over all the details of my case and got my charges lowered. I would definitely use him again if I needed legal representation.

Mr. Travis and his paralegal Dauna were wonderful in representing me in my divorce and child custody case. They were both very knowledgeable about laws, and detail oriented in preparing my case. I was extremely impressed with their explanations of all of my questions. Joe was amazing-and I don't think my situation was easy. I had two different accidents 6 months apart: car accident, December 2012 when I was injured by a gentleman that ran a stop sign in Denver then in June 2013 I was hit by a car while riding my bike in Iowa (two different states also created a challenge)........so things got a bit complicated, as each tried to blame the other for my permanent injuries. Joe was amazing-truly handling every detail, especially the stress that goes along with this type of situation. He answered every question I had-even if they were multiple times, or questions he wondered why I was asking. I find it very odd to see the less than happy reviews for Sawaya. My experience was top notch.
I was hit by a car an now I walk like an Egyptian. Well, not exactly, but the long story is tedious and irrelevant. What matters is that I needed legal counsel to manage my claims process with the insurance companies. I was assigned Zach Elsner and Erin Threadwell as my legal team, and could not be happier.
Folks, these things are battles, and not the type that are won in days or weeks, but months, and sometimes years. Zach and Erin were perfectly communicative when I needed to act on something, had an update, or just the occasional check in to make sure they know where we all were in the process.
If your hurt, you need more than peace of mind, You need an advocate that is going to take care of business on your behalf. If you need a personal injury attorney, I think that Sawaya is a strong option. Highly professional, and more than anything else, I never felt like they were a bunch of ambulance chasers.
I hope I never have to use them again, but if I ever get rag-dolled by an SUV in the future, I know where to turn.

I hired Tim when my disability carrier was stalling in paying my disability claim. I am an attorney, and had years of experience hiring and supervising other attorneys. My wife and I were involved as non-ticketed injured parties in two automobile accidents in 2011. We have just concluded 3-3/4 years of negotiations stemming from those accidents, with the help of our excellent attorney, Ms. Rebecca Albano.
This process involved extended communication with representatives of three insurance companies, the drivers / car owners and their attorneys, plus administrative representatives from more than a dozen medical firms and therapeutic treatment providers. Ms. Albano took care of all the myriad of details, red tape, and paperwork as our legal representative.
At one point, she provided a five-inch stack of accumulated documentation copies to a doctor with the information necessary for him to conduct a comprehensive interview and form an objective medical opinion. This amount of material indicates the complexity of our case, and Ms. Albano’s thoroughness.
Ms. Albano was hired by the Paul Wilkinson Law Firm in part because of her experience as a trial lawyer. We were assigned to work with her from the start, and she was always available to meet as we had questions, progressed with treatments, and submitted innumerable records and bills. Her guidance and recommendations on the litigation process were invaluable, saving us lots of time and headaches. She also was sincerely concerned for our well-being and healing progress, and suggested additional diagnostic / therapy resources to us to help speed our recovery.
We found Ms. Albano to be consistently tough and proactive on our behalf, and very well informed on the whole legal morass with which we were suddenly confronted. We would have been immediately overwhelmed and outnumbered, had it not been for her expertise and caring. She kept us informed, gave us good advice based on her broad experience, and always explained our alternatives then let us make the final decisions along the way.
Naturally, we followed her as she left the law firm where we first met, and initiated her own business. We had built up a great deal of confidence, trust, and rapport with Ms. Albano. She continued to represent us well as we concluded the first settlement, then moved through final mediation on the second.
We feel that Ms. Albano was instrumental in negotiating fair agreements, which provided enough money to pay all of our medical / treatment / related bills, her own fees, and left enough for us to continue with some necessary ongoing rehab / maintenance treatments.
