I hired Tim when my disability carrier was stalling in paying my disability claim. I am an attorney, and had years of experience hiring and supervising other attorneys. I reached out to other attorneys I knew in Denver for a recommendation for this type of case, and heard back from two whose opinion I most respect that Tim was the right choice. They were absolutely right.
It wasn't just that Tim won (which he did), or even that he won when I probably would not have (which is also true), it was that the briefing was exceptional. I know a good attorney when I see one, and Tim is one of the best that I've ever worked with.
It is easy to hire the wrong attorney, especially if you have no idea what you're up against with these evil insurance companies. What I can tell you is that every aspect of my representation was handled at the highest level. Tim was absolutely the best hire of my career, when it mattered the most.

I interviewed 3 lawyers who had experience in Bad Faith cases. It was obvious that Nelson Waneka had more experience and knowledge in working similar cases as mine. He knew the law and rights pertaining to government workers and he had a lot of experience working with Kaiser’s bad faith claims. Keith Fuicelli was very thorough, honest, and compassionate in reviewing and handling my personal injury claim involving a broken back suffered when I was struck by a car while riding my bicycle. Luke J. Puszynski is a sharp, kind, excellent lawyer that will be by your side every step of the way from the initial consultation all the way up to the day he hands you your check. I was involved in a T-bone accident and although that experience was traumatic Luke helped me understand the whole process clearly and managed my case perfectly. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He returned calls very promptly. He made sure I was following proper procedures to get the treatment for the injuries I had and guided me every step of the way. He made the right recommendations with how to negotiate with the insurance company for the maximum settlement possible without having to go to trial. I was hit by a drunk driver several months ago and had serious injuries. I wouldn't have thought of contacting a lawyer until both insurance companies, mine and other driver's, asked for recorded interviews with me. I didn't want to take a chance on saying something that would jeopardize my claim. A friend referred me to Mike Keating. He and his associate, Deidre Ostrowski, represented me throughout the process of settling my claim. I received more money than I could ever have expected. But that is only part of the story. In working through the process, I had to deal with two auto insurers, my health insurance company, two health care providers, the ambulance company, the towing company and Medicare. Amy, staff member with the firm, took care of the paperwork and kept me well informed throughout the process. She really had to educate me, since this was my first experience with such a claim. She was incredibly patient, always pleasant and very efficient. Overall, I felt that Mike and Deidre represented me very effectively, and I recommend them and the firm to anyone in a similar situation.

I would advise anyone in the same situation to retain them as their work and responsiveness were exemplary. Charlie did a great job trying to defend my case. Although the DUI did not get dropped, he did get my careless driving dropped. DA was not budging on jail time. Danny stepped in at my last courtdate, and was able to get me IHD. On that, I was thankful. I feel I did get my $'s worth from this team. They really do try to get the best deal possible. I would say I would use them again. However I will not need their services in the future. As I will NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. Colorado has become tougher through the years for DUI. The cost alone with everything involved is not worth admitting to having a few drinks and refusing Breathalyzer or Blood tests! If you are ever in this situation, call these guys. They are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. It is worth having this team of lawyers by your side through this process.
