Mr. Sparks is the most awsome lawyer you can ever hire!! He was able to settle my personal injury case with ease and set up a structured settlement on my daughters behalf which will accumulate 10,000 extra dollars towrads her settlement portion by the time she is 18. This was at no extra cost to me or my daughter and he handled it perosnally. Doug really cares about his clients by showing compassion and empathy and does everything in his power to get the maximum amount of money for his clients. I would definitely recommend Douglas Sparks to anyone!!

I was rear-ended by a pickup truck and suffered serious back and neck injuries. Unfortunately, the driver that hit me had a relatively low liability insurance policy. But Mr. Sparks got that insurance company to settle for the driver’s maximum limits. Then, he got my insurance company to pay a lot more because I had a much higher underinsured policy coverage limit. I was very happy with the final outcome.
My family and I suffered a lot in the accident’s aftermath, and Mr. Sparks stood by me every step of the way. He is an incredibly detailed, skilled and accessible lawyer … and a really good human being too.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Al Clarke for several years while the office of Patrick Malone & Associates handled a complex medical malpractice case for my father. Prior to meeting Al and Pat, our case had already been underway for a couple of years with another firm, and it was in need of additional expertise and resources.
Despite being faced with the unprecedented challenges of litigating during the Covid-19 pandemic, Al’s patience and tenacity were unwavering. He worked intensively with the defense council and negotiated a settlement. The final outcome provided us with a great deal of closure and consolation.

I worked with Mr. Cohen a few years ago. He and his firm did a great job handling my case, a bad car accident in the Washington, DC area. My car was hit by an 18 wheeler truck on the Beltway just before the Dulles Toll Road. The truck was traveling in the right lane and decided to change lanes without seeing my car. It hit the side of my car and traveled with my car for about half a mile. If it weren't for our seatbelts, my husband and I would have been killed. Luckily, the injuries were not life threatening. Mr. Cohen made sure that all of my medical bills were handled and helped me deal with my car insurance company. He was very thorough! I would recommend Mr. Cohen to anyone that has had a car accident in the Washington DC area.

He started off with a big smile and hello to me and my granddaughter. he came to my home. He gave me a second chance when it came to my broken heart. I worked with Ryan on a personal injury case after getting in a car accident and was 100% satisfied.
Ryan was incredibly thorough, investigating all components of the case including recently changed local laws that were pertinent to the case, as well as exploring multiple long shot strategies for recovering as much in damages as possible. Though my case was not worth a huge amount of money, I felt that Ryan dedicated a significant amount of time and attention to it and treated mine as well as he might have another case worth many times more.
Most importantly, Ryan is upstanding and operates in a highly ethical and moral manner. As a complete novice to the legal system, I always felt confident that he would ultimately work in my interest and defer to my needs, even if it might result in him getting paid less. In discussing fees and why I should work with him, he was very transparent and I felt that he was giving me the full picture of his work and explaining his value without trying to sell me on something or take advantage of my ignorance about the process.
We reached a conclusion that I feel very happy with and though the case has closed, I know he would also be fully willing to help should anything related arise in the future.
Working with Ryan gave me full confidence and peace of mind during a stressful time. Paul Zukerberg is the man. He defended my rights when they were clearly violated by a police officer (Terrance Sutton). This officer would then later become the first officer charged with second degree murder (in a separate case) in DC history. Terrence Sutton was very dangerous and because Paul was my attorney, Terrence backed off from harassing me.
Paul is the most sympathetic, caring, engaging, and smartest lawyer in Washington DC. I'd give him a thousands stars if I could pull them from the sky and put the in Google.

Leah and her staff are amazing at what they do! This is not the sort of injury you would give to a typical injury lawyer. They walked me through the process and kept me informed the entire way, best of all the entire award for my injury was all mine! the government pays the attorney fees directly.

Mr. Bilton was my attorney for a PI case. Throughout the process I grew frustrated with his lack of organization and communication. I didn't learn much of his failures until towards the end of the case after he withdrew. He withdrew because I threatened to file a complaint with the BAR. I learned 6 weeks before the trial that Mr. Bilton had not deposed anyone in my case. I learned that he had not requested the proper doctor's notes in order to understand my injuries. I learned that he was not communicating with my doctors when I was contacted by an expert witness, a house counsel and one of my own doctors complaining that Mr. Bilton was simply not responding to their emails or calls. Mr. Bilton also failed to hire appropriate expert witnesses. As part of his agreement he was obligated to hire experts but he tried to tell me that it's normal to use my own doctors as experts which is never done because they can't provide a bias opinion. This essentially was why my case was destroyed. Not only did the stress send me to the hospital but his cruelty and lack of disregard for how his action impact my life has hurt my entire family. If you decide to hire him, I would ask him for his trial record because he loses more than he wins. I would ask him what experts he works with and I would make sure your contract states specifically that he is to hire third party experts and not try to use your doctors.

I was referred to Cory by an attorney that had dropped my case. That attorney had only the highest opinion of Cory and has used him for when he needed representation. From reading his bio to meeting him for the first time, it's clear that he is a real person that has a firm grasp on the struggles of the injured with one hand and a firm grasp on the law with the other hand. I had a case that was very complicated and had been accepted and rejected by numerous attorneys. When he agreed to take me on, it was the eleventh hour of the statute of limitations and he came across as entirely undaunted. He asked questions that none of the other (six or more) attorneys I'd met with had ever brought up, he truly listened to what I had to say, took the time to understand the parts he was less familiar with, and offered the kind of advice and counsel you would expect from him if you were related. Cory clearly wants to help people and hasn't lost sight of that after law school. He was there to answer my questions and be my compass through some rough waters, even when there was nothing in it for him in return. If you want someone that is sharp, responsive, personable, makes you feel like you're their only client, and truly cares about you and your outcomes as a person he should be the only call you make. I only wish he practiced every sort of law so that I could only ever use him for my legal needs.
His staff is also very responsive, organized, and kind. They're organized, using technology to both their advantage and that of their clients. This team works together well. In the past I have experienced attorneys and firms that tell you everything you want to hear in order to get you to sign and then the level of service and competency plummets once you're on board. This firm is one of honesty and integrity, they are good for their word and I trust them wholeheartedly (first time I've ever said that about a lawyer or firm).

My daughter was hit by a school but driving down the wrong side of the road and they refused to take responsibility and blamed my daughter. I called Mr Hines and he saved my case by writing letters to the school board that I didn't know you had to write. We eventually went to trial and he proved the my daughter did nothing wrong and it was the bus drivers fault. We won the case and our car was fixed and all the medical bills were paid and my daughter got money for pain and suffering. I was so worried the entire time but Brad took care of everything. I was so happy I called him. And also I see some people say he is hard to get a hold of - he is an attorney!! Whenever I called if he wasn't there he called me or emailed me back within a day. I think that's fair. I would recommend!!!

I would advise anyone to refrain from hiring this untrustworthy lawyer. The firm he works for is incompetent and does not remain loyal to its clients. Mr Hines was always difficult to get a hold of and rude when speaking to just as mentioned In some of the other reviews on this site. Mr Hines failed to try to get a reduction in my medical bills and walked say with more money than me and when I pointed this out to him he said that we had talked about the percentage and it was the way the math worked out.

The poster of the negative review received full compensation and attorneys fees for his claim. We were his successor counsel after his first attorney ended the representation. A dispute arose over whether attorneys fees could be credited in any way back to the client, something federal law prohibits. The firm provided the client full relief, this we were surprised by his review, particularly after he expressed appreciation for the firm’s efforts.

I was a client of Kevin Byrnes and I would not recommend him as an attorney. Don’t construed experience as success. Ambiguity with him is your loss. As a client, I did not like that he constantly boasted of select past cases and I also did not like the ongoing attorney/client disagreements. My recommendation? Take your chances with another attorney. I’ve also noticed one of his employees recommended him in a review. I’ll end this review as I started it: “Caveat Emptor or Retain at your own RISK.”
