Wow - I read some of the other reviews and completely disagree. While the divorce system is basically broke and the attorneys will always win. Barbara was the worst.... She drained all money that was given to her and when fired she made sure she burned through every nickel in the last several days. She was terrible and unprepared in court and had no idea of who I was or what was being said or done in the courts. I have dealt with the legal system in my business(s) for many decades and she is quite possibly the worst I have had to deal with. I wish I would not have hired her and hope someone else does not make the same mistake I made.
And of the several attorneys I hired Ms. Keon was the most expensive even though she was the shortest duration of representation and accomplished the least. Again, the system is broke - by design. Ms. Keon does not help the cause.

Barbara’s preparedness and pragmatism are well-documented. But I was most overly impressed with how intimate she became with my case, often able to remember and recite details even I had forgotten over the course of a 2-year legal battle.
It was my perception she gives each of her clients this individualized and customized attention.
Fully convinced I was successful in my divorce and custody hearings because I had the most savvy, and most experienced legal team.
She’s the best money can buy.

Paul really went the extra mile in our case. We hired him for a drug / controlled substances case. Well, it was more like three different cases in two different counties, including a probation violation case, a new controlled substances violation case, and a different controlled substances case (where a gun was also found, though it wasn't his, but the DA might have said who knows what). So, this was an extremely difficult situation, with three felonies in 2 counties all being processed at the same time! It took a lot of juggling!
And on top of all that, our goal was to get the person into rehab, in order to get better, versus just to have time in jail. Paul had so much work to do to make this happen! He worked evenings and weekends without any complaint or reservation. He went above and beyond, helping to identify rehabs that the judge would approve, that the probation officer would approve, that the DA would approve. So many parties to liaise with!
Then, he helped to call all the rehabs (due to our limited time to help)! He found out which had availability when. How much they cost. Which offered financial assistance.
Even he helped to set up the initial call between the patient/inmate and the rehab facility, which was way harder than we anticipated. Without Paul, it's highly likely that we wouldn't have had an acceptance letter before the hearing, and that might have been the end of his chances of going to rehab versus prison.
Paul was professional, courteous, and hard working. He got it done. We are very appreciative.

I reached out to Dawn Jones Law when my daughter was hospitalized. While hospitalized my daughter was injured and I was not able to get her treatment team to return my calls after numerous attempts and several weeks of worrying about her care. Dawn was able to support our family by sending a letter to the hospital reminding them of their “goal to help make the patients’ experience from admission to discharge as pleasant as possible.” Within 24 hours we received a call from our daughter’s doctor. We are truly thankful for Dawn’s immediate and prompt support and genuine concern for our plight. I would highly recommend this law firm if you are looking for a caring and dedicated team of lawyers.

i hired this firm to represent my son in a dui/ hit an run clayton county case, all i can say is you can't go wrong with this firm he ended up with a wrecked driving conviction with a fine less than $500 and 40 hours community service from the municipal court in downtown jonesboro the first atty i hired stole $600 from me and didn't even show up for first appearance so be careful read reviews make sure they have a real office. But back to Thomas R. Barton Firm hire these guys if you want the best representation you can get, they do care it's not just about the money Love Love Love these guys !!!

When my case first happened, the workers comp board tried to move my case to Florida (one the worst states for workers comp). Bruce fought tooth and nail to get it to stay in Georgia and got me a bigger settlement than what was originally agreed. He will fight for you!!

My mom and I never had to hire a lawyer before and was not sure how it worked. After someone hit my car, James Ponton walked us through the process and assured us we wouldn't owe any money and my medical records would be paid for after the case. Originally, I was going to represent myself in my small claims case but after the defendant hired a lawyer, I knew I needed help. After searching for a while, I finally found Jesse. The moment I spoke to him, I knew he was the attorney for me. Jesse is a very intelligent person and he is a very fast thinker (a skill that is very valuable in court). He took the time to understand my construction case and set me at ease that I did have a case. Jesse knows construction law and he was amazing in court often catching out the lies of the defendant. He took the time to prep me before the case and let me know how things would proceed. Jesse really presented my case well and his intelligence and speed of thought really made a big difference in court. Jesse did an amazing job and I couldn't be more pleased. I was hurt in a car accident and a friend told my wife and I to speak with their attorney, Evan Kaine. I have really good friends because Attorney Kaine was the right man for the job! At first, the insurance company tried to push us around, but my attorney, Evan Kaine, pushed them right back! We didn’t want to file a lawsuit, but since the insurance company was playing games, we followed the advice of our attorney and sued the other driver. By listening to Attorney Kaine, we more than doubled the amount of money that we received from our accident case. Thanks Kaine Law!!!

MR. Douglas Rohan is an amazing attorney. I was charged with two serious felonies. If convicted I would of faced two years jail time and possible deportation. MR. Rohan was successful in dismissing one felony and reducing other felony to a misdemeanor. Consequently I received no jail time and no deportation. I highly recommend MR. Rohan and his law firm.

My teenaged son, while intelligent in many aspects of life, made a very bad decision and was arrested along with a couple of friends for drug possession (felony) & alcohol (minor in possession). Doug represented me in another case & delivered very favorable results so I was confident when I approached him with my son’s case.
Doug took my son and another boy’s case and represented them as co-defendents. Doug worked with a State Prosecutor in/out of court for a weeks, and in the end their cases were dismissed. The boys were required to attend drug and alcohol classes & complete community service hours. Needless to say, my wife, son & I were more than pleased with the outcome!
Doug held our hand and explained to us in detail what to expect in every step of the legal process. In the courtroom he’s a calm and collective & is well respected by his peers. Watching him interact/work in the courtroom ensured us we made the right decision to his firm to represent our then high school aged son.

I hired this agency at the beginning of 2024. And today was the first time I spoke to the attorney that "handled" my case. Mr. Shannon was rude to me and told me while they were working on my case I was bugging them then stated that he no longer will help me even though for some reason my hospital bill is still outstanding. I basically paid him to do nothing. Not happy and would never refer this law firm to anyone.
