I spoke to Mona and she sounded confident. I never got anything in the mail from them or even a phone call after i hired them. I constantly leave messages and no call backs or communucation. My friend hired another firm and she was mailed a huge packet welcoming her and supporting her, it even told her what she can expect from the firm. This is NOT the case with Rizzi. Im still hanging in limbo. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

He has gotten family members out of speeding tickets and has helped with other more serious charges that other attorneys could not have had dismissed/dropped. He is highly respected by the court officials and fellow attorneys. He is the only Board Certified Criminal Attorney in the County and knows how to win cases or simply have them dismissed. The office Staff is awesome too. A Class A team and excellent attorney. I have also heard the exact same from others he has represented.

The “only secretary of the office” as she said herself is extremely rude and dismissive. She told me because of their workload the office will only respond via letters no information on the phone. When i asked the lady her name she tells me she doesn’t have to give me that information and that she is the only secretary of the office. I told her how can she be employed in an office and speak to customers in such a tone yet not want to state her name? When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said it was Allen Dubois but he was not there. I told her I will be making a complaint on her attitude and she hung up on me. Someone needs to fire this lady because why are you even employed if you don’t want to give your name or any information to the community seeking assistance from your office?

Our firm consulted providence Law and had a very bad experience. Lets start with basics. The law firm required basic information, what is your firms name, what is the owners name, what is the address etc. and why are you requiring our services. We provided. 2nd step, make payment. Done. 3rd step is for Providence Law to execute. Well guess what, nope. Providence Law repeats step 1. and sends you an invoice for step 2. Well, here comes time for step 3... Nope not again, another one of their representative will call you and repeat step 1 and step 2 and send you an invoice for it. In step 1 and 2 you end up paying $6k in fees. Yes, they did file something, finally they did something, a filing of about 2k’s worth. And then they send you a termination letter when you don’t want to repeat step 1 and 2 any longer. When you try to call and call for an explanation they DON’T ANSWER but send you a legal letter stating representation is terminated. LOL, WOW... I am trying to warn anyone out there..
Well Guess what providence Law. I am not asking for any additional legal services, I’ve been calling you NOT for additional services, NO sir, all I’ve been calling, calling for our original documentation but you guys don’t respond. I will now publicly ask for our original documents filed. Which NEVER previously provided, NO, NO, NO.. Do not say you have originally provided the document. That will be a lie.. after many calls you finally after me proving you never originally gave us documentation, you sent original filings. But there has been lot more documents missing. If you called me Mr. Craig Morgan I could have explained, but you never returned our calls, not even to explain why termination. And I’ve been calling and calling to ask for original documentation but no response. Legal letter you sent saying copies of our documentation will be sent for additional cost. $8k later... WOW...people this is called a legal robbery. Be careful everyone. Don’t Call Providence Law. Do Not seek their consultation. You won’t get anything but a bill for What is You Name.

Jim is the most unprofessional attorney I have come across in the last 25 years of working with scores of them. My son paid him 1250 dollars last year to fight a traffic case and Jim asked the judge for continuation without my son’s consent. After that he would not schedule the case. He kept postponing it. On one of the court dates he was supposed to represent my son but failed to appear and failed to inform my son who lives in a different county. My son got arrested and my wife had to rush from Fayetteville to Raleigh to plead with the magistrate. The whole thing cost us a bail money of 2000/-. After that Jim never returned phone calls and emails from my son, my wife, my son’s civil attorney and myself. My son had to hire another attorney after one year of drama and dragging by this unscrupulous attorney. That cost him another 750/ dollars. So here is a young man left with a wrongful arrest and 4000/- dollars down due to shear negligence of Jim Van Kamp. You can decide yourself if you want to hire him.
Although I am not in a position to make a diagnosis, other reviews also suggest he has hard time remembering and executing his task as an attorney. May be time for him to get some medical/psychological advice. If this is his attitude, god save his clients.

I recently engaged this attorney's office for legal assistance in a negligence case that required potential litigation. Initially, they appeared competent and agreed to take on our case, and we completed all necessary paperwork. However, our experience quickly soured.
After advising us to set up an estate, which we did at considerable expense, communication from their end became sporadic at best. Despite our persistent efforts to stay updated, we were met with vague responses or no response at all.
A full year passed with little progress and minimal communication. When they eventually reached out, it was to inform us that they couldn't proceed due to a legal complication they seemingly overlooked initially. This left us frustrated and financially strained, particularly as we are both single mothers.
To exacerbate matters, we've now received correspondence from the courts regarding the estate, and despite repeated attempts to contact the attorney's office via email and phone, we've been met with silence. This lack of professionalism is deeply concerning.
I intend to report this matter to the Better Business Bureau to shed light on the lack of communication and disappointing legal representation provided by this attorney's office.

I do think that more could've been accomplished seeing as how the accident caused permanent damage to my dominant hand. What I got I make in a year from working times 2. I ain't greedy but I do know that I wish I could've been a part of the conversation on the decision made in my settlement. At the end of it all I lost more than I gained.

After a 26 year long stellar career as. Green Beret, I was facing 7 felony charges from my ex wife. These charges were all false allegations provided by my ex wife to my chain of command. The Army never once had my back. The Army labeled me a criminal from the first time my ex wife made these allegations. I went through a 3-1/2 year long process that was harder than any military deployment. From the first time we talked to Rob, there was just something about him that was different. He wanted us to do our homework and read his bio before we made a decision to hire him. My outlook on the Military Justice system was very low. I do not trust lawyers or the Military anymore. Rob had my back from day one. His passion, dedication are unmatched. The way he handled my court martial trial was second to none. His heart was in it from the start. He gave me his all. Although I knew in my heart I was innocent of these false allegations I still faced 7 felony charges from the Government. I was scared, I was worried and faced 40 years in prison if I was found guilty. After a week long trial and Rob’s heart felt and passionate closing arguments. I heard the words Not Guilty. On June 09, 2018; I was in a car accident on my way to work. To date: I am STILL waiting on a settlement, or information, or an Update as to the status of my claim.!?!? They have done absolutely nothing to keep me in the loop, and each phone call to make an inquiry was initiated by me. Each phone call, I was dismissed and disappointed, and felt as if my case wasn’t important. I called to inquire about the status, and was actually told by an office employee that they were working on a huge case, and that someone would return my call as soon as they were available. Needless to say, that Call was never received, nor returned. On several occasions, I was calling in at least twice a week with updated or new information regarding my case, but was made to feel as if I were a nuisance, and again, calls were never returned. However; I do have to agree, my job has NOT been the most cooperative at providing information to the attorneys, but that IS part of being a hired attorney, that is retrieving that information for the clients claim. I am truly disappointed in my choice in representation, because this was a very easy, open & shut case.
