Our daughter was hit by a car and killed while in a crosswalk. We were fortunate to find Josh to take our case. I could not imagine a more effective attorney. Josh took on all of the details of our case. He recommended a highly competent probate attorney to handle the details of our daughter's estate. His assistant Jessica very effectively managed many of the interface details between his office and the probate attorney's office. Josh worked diligently with the insurance companies, dealing with their stalling tactics and negotiating a generous and fair settlement. He worked extremely effectively with the District Attorney's office and the ADA assigned to our case. His guidance was always pragmatic and thoughtful. He and Jessica were always readily accessible whenever we had a question. He worked very effectively with the Defendant's attorney. His knowledge, confidence, personable nature and competence were a great comfort to my wife and I through a very difficult time.
I could not imagine a more competent, effective and personable attorney to guide someone through such difficult circumstances.

I retained Mr. Kline's office after being hit by a care while riding my motorcycle. While trying to heal from my injuries, my wife and I were worried how I would get my medical bills handled and since the driver had little insurance how we were going to handle this traumatic situation. Mr. Kline took the time to drive to my house (rather than me go to his office) and explained to my wife and I how he thought we should go about getting all of the legal business with this crash. Along with his paralegal Rosie Key I was constantly informed on updates on my case. Also each step along the way they informed me on what would likely happen next. If you find yourself in a similar situation, do not hesitate to give them a call. I could not have been more satisfied with everything they did for me on my case.

I, and my two young daughters, were injured in a car accident caused by a reckless driver, and I asked family and friends for recommendations for a personal injury attorney. I received some personal recommendations, but ultimately chose Kline Law because of the great reviews that I’d read, and they were absolutely spot-on.
After our experience with Rob Kline, I would never work with anyone else, and would recommend him very highly (and have) to anyone in need of his services. He and Rosie are a rock-solid team that know how to get things done and have the knowledge to facilitate the best outcome.
At all times, I felt like we were a priority and that they were doing their best (and their best is very impressive) on our behalf. I can't say enough about Grant Cook, representing me in two different cases. In two separate courts. One case against a landlord. The other a family court matter. I found him to be thorough and an excellent communicator. Kept me in the loop with information as he received it. He spoke in a way that gave me a clearer understanding of the laws as they pertained to my cases. I know it can be frustrating for some who hire other representation and feel out of the loop or spoken down to. Not so with Grant. Jim helped me through a difficult situation when my now ex-wife moved out unexpectedly and hired an attorney. Jim gave me sound legal advice and provided prompt responses to her attorney's proposals. When the dust settled I got a divorce. Afterward, Jim helped me re-write my will and clean up all the loose ends of paperwork and things to file that I hadn't even thought of. He was a straight-shooter, compassionate, and able to tell me things I had a difficult time hearing. Mr. Huegli is the finest attorney I have ever known. He has an uncanny ability to research and locate all evidence and put forth the finest preparation for trial. He represented us in the successful prosecution of an individual fraudulently promoting himself as a financial advisor to an elderly member of our family. His unyielding efforts were central to evidence prepared for the county prosecutor leading to the conviction of a perpetrator on more than 10 counts of first degree theft. Without Mr. Huegli's tenacity and thoroughness, a similar outcome would have been unlikely.

I had been in a bicycle accident and chose to handle the claim without hiring a lawyer. Everything went smoothly until I was settling the claim some time later. I received a letter with language and twisting legal terminology I didn't quite understand and wasn't confident signing. I called several layers who would only agree to take on an entire case when all I need was consultation for this one aspect of the claim. I found Charlie online, gave him a call, and he reviewed the letter via email at no charge even though I was willing to pay. Charlie assured me the letter was okay and pointed out a few details I should aware of. This enabled me to settle with peace of mind. Pretty amazing. I was visiting the United States and was injured by a car while cycling. Charley and his staff were wonderful at helping me to navigate the complicated American health care and payments system, as well as arranging for every provider to get their appropriate amount.
Charley also provided extra services, like picking up my broken bike and driving it to a shop for evaluation when I was too injured to do so myself.
All in all, Charley was professional, helpful, and respectful in every way, and his staff were great at communicating and helping with all the bureaucracy involved in healthcare and insurance following a serious injury.

I was fortunate enough to have Mr Huegli as my attorney during my DUI case. My case was difficult to prove because the police officer was not completly honest in his investigation and actually violated the law in order to charge me with a DUI. Mr. Huegli analyzed the events, the investigation and police reports and was able to determine what actually occurred. He then put a strategy together to prove this in court. I was most impressed with Mr Huegli's litigation and delivery during the trial. In the courtroom he was able to examine and cross-examine so that the jury could understand what actually happened. It was obvious that the police officer was not being entirely honest as Mr. Huegli cross-examined him on the witness stand. The jury deliberated for less than an hour and I was found "not guilty." I would highly recommend Mr. Huegli for legal representation.

I won't get into too many details about my personal case, however I can tell you that Todd knows the law inside and out. The D.A. tried to bring in a bunch of evidence that would have really killed me and Todd knew exactly how to handle it all. He did an awesome job keeping stuff out of the trial and in the end I was WAY better off having Todd on my side.
If you are looking for a criminal defense or DUI attorney, look no further. Todd is really nice, explains everything to you, and then is a machine in the court room.

I'm from CA, but had a little too much to drink while in Portland, OR and got a DUI. Todd defended me and did an awesome job. Todd did a great job keeping the DA honest and making sure they could only bring in evidence that was relevant. The details of my case were very involved and Todd did a great job making sure the inadmissible stuff stayed out of the trial. Overall, I couldn't recommend Todd more. He is a very nice guy, easy to work with, and understands the law very well.

I was rear-ended and as a result have permanent pain in my back. I was offered $3,000 by the at fault insurance company. I then knew that I had to hire a lawyer, but was uncertain of how to figure out who was going to be honest and look out for my best interest. I was VERY near the end of my statue of limitations with my auto accident and I got bounced around by several different firms. They all explained that I had waited too long and they didn't have enough time to help me. I was really discouraged but was eventually referred to Kafoury & McDougal. They were very positive and told me that even with the situation they would be able to represent me.
Jason was amazing and not only got a full offer settlement from the at fault company, but then filed a claim with my insurance company and got a total of $100,000. I never would have been able to do this without them. They are now handling an accident that my grandparents were in, as well as an accident that a good friend's father was in because I have complete confidence in the firm. I had telephoned several attorneys regarding my situation. None of them viewed my case as I did; there was something wrong with the timing of a work-related injury claim
and my employment being terminated.
Then, someone referred me to Christopher Slater.
I was instantly impressed with his honesty, knowledge of the law, and how well informed he was of the particular requirements for the industry in which I was employed.
He expressed confidence, patience, and the value of timing with regards to filing my complaint with the proper court.
Christopher's genuine concern regarding my current medical condition was a relief and he advised me to "take care of it first".
Christopher spent a great deal of time on the phone during the initial conference and everytime afterwards.
He was easy to talk with and always straightforward; often using metaphors to get his point across.
And always he made certain I had no questions at the end of all conversations.
I appreciated his mindfulness of my time and distance from his office.
Office meetings were kept to a bare minimum.
The discussions regarding plan of procedures, his work on a contingency basis, and the difference between costs and fees were done via phone or email.
He made sure I understood my responsibilities before, during, and after the process of filing a suit.
The defendent eventually offered a settlement following a decision made by the State of Oregon courts during discovery.
I met with Christopher and the adjudicator to negotiate.
It was apparent he is a plaintiff's lawyer, as he often referred to himself.
I am certain his ethics, values, and professionalism appear very well in a courtroom.
I have a great deal of respect for Christopher and highly recommend him to anyone with questions regarding employment and disablilities.

While riding a bicycle I was hit from behind by a pickup truck going 55mph. I was badly hurt and spent five days in a Salem hospital. It took many months for me to recover.

Absolutely the best! I had lost my disability and an appeal. Insurance companies are NOT your friends and they will do everything they can to keep you from money you are entitled to! Roy Law came in and fixed it all. They really know what they are doing! A special shout out to Kali! She not only dealt with the insurance company but also kept me from going crazy over me having had to deal with them (I really was desperate and knew that I was probably out of luck!) She also made the yearly recertification a breeze (for me at least. It was a LOT of work I initially thought I was going to have to do, but she took care of all of it!) I cannot think of a way they could have made the experience better (except for me to hire them earlier and save myself a TON of aggravation and anxiety!!!) Thanks for all the help and hard work! I was very concerned when I first applied to Roy Law Group, and to be honest scared. I had paid for short term disability and long term disability and was denied through my insurers even though I was diagnosed with Cancer! I was injured in a car accident, and I hired a lawyer without any research or knowledge of what to even look for. The experience was terrible, to say the least. I got false information, lost money I didn’t have and wasted a lot of time with a lot of added stress because I couldn’t get any answers or help. I was lucky enough to know someone else who was already going through the legal process with Attorney David Eder. My conversation with them is what also made me realize I was completely with the wrong firm. I was grateful my case hadn’t already closed and reached out to David.
