The Plaintiffs Law Firm proved to be an excellent firm. They were very professional; calls were returned in a reasonable amount of time; everyone used the same terminology and gave the same answers; and during the length of my case, there was no turnover in the office (which says a lot).
Mr. Frazier would respond via phone, fax, email, or text; thus, the firm is up to standards with technology. Mr. Frazier's availability is rated as excellent. My concerns were always considered "important". The pleasant attitude and willingness to follow through ensured that everything was being handled and Mr. Frazier's knowledge of the law lessened any apprehension about my case. He was always upfront and the attention given to my case proved he cared. Mr. Frazier is also a family man and that was impressive.

I hired Emma Flynn to review a contract that covered my purchase of the business assets of my former boss. Since I was technically starting a new business, the main thing I needed was protection from any claims against the former business by the IRS or other parties. The contract had to be ready to sign in a short amount of time and Mrs. Flynn delivered. She ironed out what was basically a rough draft, adding language and clauses that would protect me and removing anything that was superfluous. Her communication was timely and professional. I was able to meet with her to discus the details of my contract and follow up emails were answered immediately. Her bill was clear and negotiated up front, making it easy for me to know what to expect and focus on giving her the information she needed to assist me. Working with Mrs. Flynn was the best experience I've ever had with a lawyer. I would not hesitate to hire her in the future and refer her to others who may need her services.

I hired Bill Burns after my father died in an accident caused by a defective hot water heater. Mr. Burns told me on the front end it would be a very difficult case. We found ourselves in a somewhat embarassing position last year when our 19 year daughter was arrested for shoplifting. We were referred to Mr. Kim through a friend and contacted him for his help. Since she had never been arrested before he was able to work with the prosecutor and allow her to attend anti-theft classes which enabled her to have this minor charge expunged from her record. Without this expungement, she would not have been able to get the job she had been wanting for some time. Mr. Kim helped to ease our fears through this whole process and without his help, she might have been held back in life. Even though this was a minor charge, it was a big deal to our family and we can't thank Mr. Kim enough.

Well as a protection, in the event, a wreck occurs it is the law to have car insurance. And as I've seen that work or not in my case, still a wreck leaves you hurt in more than one way- opening you up as a target for more devices. Why does this attorney merit 5 stars? As a 63 year old client that experienced an accident that altered my life course and left me totally disabled- I needed the RIGHT LAWYER that would go the extra mile. A sum of 2 years ago I was charged with 6 aggravated assault charges, and later the DA felt I got the lesser charges so they decide to charge me with first degree attempted murder. I was arrested October 28, Mr. Reaves came on the 30th just two days after, I was impressed. When we first talked and he gave me a consultation he made sure he let me know that he will fight for me to the fullest extent. I didnt expect to much but I wasn't in full belief because I was in a city that wronged me, but over the course of 21 days in jail attorney Reaves built my confidence by displaying his incentive, knowledge, and determination. I was his first criminal case, so in all other metaphors he took those gloves off and prepared to win. He knew what possible outcomes could take place but his diligence allowed him not to be defeated. Even though I had no criminal history and I was eligible for first offense diversion he didnt take no plea, even when I was reindicted for the higher charge he never gave up on me. During the course of 2 years we had several trials and although he was a civil attorney he went against two of the most respected defense attorneys Memphis had to offer. But Mr. Reaves was prepared for them and surprised them as well. In the end result I can still be an engineer with my clear name because he was triumphant. I owe him so much more then money and gratitude he saved my life and I'm eternally grateful. If you ask me what Lawyer is the best for any situation civil and or criminal I will say attorney Reaves. He knows the value of your life and your possessions and he will fight for them with all he has.

Malcolm represented me in a consumer protection case in mid 2015. He was very understandable and listened to my concerns carefully and gave the most honest recommendations including- the best or worse possible outcomes from the case. He did not pressure me to make any decisions, rather would advice and give me enough time to make my own decisions in accordance to what I was comfortable with.
His communication skills were excellent. He literally informed me about every new finding and details about the case as soon as he can- through email, text or phone call. If Malcolm were running late for a meeting, he would call and inform me about it and even give the reason as to why he is late.
Malcolm is kind. For services that I could not afford, he referred me to the Memphis Area Legal Organization to aid me with some form of assistance. He also provided me with invoice documentation of every cost of his excellent services. Prior to my case, his good heart was also shown when he donated his car to benefit an organization I was working for as an intern- the Church Health Center, a clinic providing coverage for the working uninsured poor in Memphis.
He is a fast thinker, calculates his opponents’ thoughts wisely and makes a smart moves based on that. Due to his demands, the company I was suing was willing to drop the case even before heading to court and reimbursed me with enough money to recover my property. And with wonderful twists to the story, it was also featured on the commercial appeal newspaper. Malcolm is an excellent lawyer. I would highly recommend him for all your legal services matters.

I went to him concerning a custody issue after I was pretty much told by another lawyer that my children's emotional feelings were irrelavent & I had no argument as long as they were not coming home bruised or physically broken. Admittedly, personal injury attorney's have some of the lowest credibility and professionalism scores of any category of professionals. If more personal injury attorneys were more like Joe, this would not be true.
Several months ago my wife was injured in a boating accident, and once it was clear that responsible party's insurance company was not going to do the right thing, we decided we needed to retain an attorney. We dreaded trying to select an attorney because of some other incidents we have had over the years with attorneys. We cast about on the Internet and found this website to obtain feedback on attorneys.
Based upon reviews here on AVVO, we selected two attorneys to present our situation to. Both made appointments to meet with us very quickly, but in those interviews, we were much more impressed by Joe. He did not pander, over-dramatize, or over-promise, while also impressing us with his knowledge and intelligence.
Once we retained him, he worked very efficiently, quickly, and proficiently to move forward. We engaged the insurance company two times within the first month, and each time they barely gave us the time of day.
We then proceeded to file a Federal lawsuit. Upon doing this, the insurance company offered to settle within two weeks. From everyone that we spoke with, this seemed to be a highly unusual behavior on the part of the insurance company. Generally once an insurance company has decided to deny the claim, they will usually go through with discovery at a minimum.
We are convinced that part of the reason they chose to settle when they did was that Joe effectively applied maximum pressure to them.
Once the insurance company cut the check, Joe tackled my wife's employee insurance company that had covered most of the medical expenses following the accident, and successfully negotiated with them to significantly reduce their claim on the settlement, which really helped us because had they insisted on being fully reimbursed, there would not have been much money left to compensate my wife.
And to top it off, Joe agreed to perform his services for us at significantly less than the going rate, and less than the other attorney quoted to us. It is unusual do get high quality service for less than typical fees.
Joe was aware that the insurance settlement would not fully make us whole, so he was quite conservative in what he asked for in return.
