I'm sorry to say that, even though I was married in the Catholic Church, my wife divorced me in March of this year, 2019. It was traumatic of course but Sharon Lieblich not only did a great job as a lawyer, but as a human being. I truly grew to love her. I was recently awarded my SSDI case with the help of GGL Law Firm. He, and his assistant, Anne are knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, determined, extremely responsive and organized. Calls were never screened and they pick-up or respond to you immediately. They made sure I understood the facts of my case. Mr. Lutkenhaus did not give false hope and most of all, encouraged me to be honest about my disability. It’s very hard to discuss the disabling conditions due to my young age, but he made sure that no favorable facts were unturned during my ALJ hearing. They continue to care even after the case was heard. I highly recommend this firm to anyone.

A relative applied for social security disability benefits and had the claim denied. I was asked to help and began to research the social security disability application process. The statistics of denial although staggering were pretty easy to find. It seems that about 67 percent are denied initially and the figure jumps to about 87 percent for reconsiderations. Apparently your chances of success for reconsideration are even lower if you don’t appeal after the initial denial which was the case for my relative. Although I am retired while employed I valued contractors that had memberships in professional organizations specific to their trade or profession. This is the approach I used to help the relative retain a lawyer well versed in social security disability law and contacted NOSSCR – the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives and asked for the names of local members. Much to my surprise only two members worked in the Richmond metropolitan area. Gerald G. Lutkenhaus had far better reviews. From the beginning it was clear that Mr. Lutkenhaus was well versed in social security disability law, rules and procedures. I actually read an entire book on SSA disability before I joined the relative for the initial meeting with the GGL Law Firm. Everything I read was confirmed ten times over. GGL had both the knowledge and the essential experience needed for these types of cases. I must confess that my dislike for most lawyers is that they charge you for every minute you talk to them and they nickel and dime you for everything and anything they can which is definitely not the case with GGL. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Anne the paralegal at GGL. Anne too has an encyclopedic knowledge of social security disability law and procedures and is extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. So what’s the bottom line? Our relative had a hearing 9 months after the first meeting with GGL and was granted a favorable outcome. GGL beat the statistics!!!! I certainly would recommend GGL without hesitation.

He was patient, kind, and steadfast in his pursuit to hold a business accountable for their lack of communication, empathy and actions that lead to my mom’s death. The suffering that she endured the final days of her life due to their negligence continues to haunt me. I don’t know if I can adequately express my appreciation to Chris for holding them accountable. Hiring Andrew Taylor as my attorney was the best decision I made when filing for divorce. My case was complicated, including numerous filings and hearings leading to a multi-day trial related to my divorce, child custody and support. He also handled my J&DR Court hearings to secure a Protective Order for my children and I. Andrew knows the law thoroughly and his experience in the courtroom meant he gave me very sound advice. After trying diligently to settle with the other side, it became clear we would have to go to trial. This meant months strategically prioritizing and timing the work on discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, coordination with the Guardian Ad Litem (GAL), minor children testifying to the judge in chambers, and supplementary legal negotiations. Andrew and his paralegal, Shannon, expertly managed all of this. They are truly good people and a delightful team: I trust them implicitly.
Prior to my divorce trial, I presented Andrew with a 20-point list of what I wanted the judge to grant me. Andrew’s deep understanding of what the court would be looking for with regard to the best interest of my children, quantifying asset/debt values, jurisdiction, case law, & how that lined up with the fact patterns in my case meant success: what the judge granted me after the trial was beyond my expectations.
Even though I was the one who chose to file for divorce, it was daunting emotionally. Sometimes I just wanted to give up the fight for what I knew I was legally allowed. I called Dan to get a prenup.
1. He spent 75 minutes on the phone recounting prenup basics and legal history (all of which I could've googled) then charged me $487.50.
2. I email asking for next steps. Dan emails me an engagement agreement that said "ADVANCE FEE OF $32,000.00 is due immediately as the fee advance." I tell him this is not what we agreed upon during the call and ask if it was a typo. He responds with something along the lines of 'just sign it'.
I decided to use helloprenup instead. I didn't feel comfortable moving forward after this experience.

I’m not very good at making recommendations and rarely do. But I had to express my gratitude for Mr. Dodge and his assistance. I can’t begin to convey how much of a lifesaver, estate saver, Mr. Dodge has been. My aunt died in February and left a very messy estate. Just after being appointed, the executor developed a life-threatening illness and needed to be replaced. Mr. Dodge learned of my situation from another attorney and called me on a Sunday morning to offer his help.
Despite his busy schedule and the immediate and overwhelming needs of the estate, Mr. Dodge kept the estate out of foreclosure and enabled me to honor my aunt’s last wishes. From the beginning, Mr. Dodge was very supportive and responsive. Not only was Mr. Dodge a great source of legal knowledge, but he was invested in the outcome. He and his staff were very hands-on, answered all of my questions and helped me to remain positive throughout the whole process.

Jonathan McGrady represented me in a reckless driving offense. We spoke and I explained the citation and the circumstances. Mr. McGrady asked questions, understood my situation and then fully explained my options. His staff is extremely professional. Their communication was clear and concise, left nothing in question. I was able to communicate by email and phone. Not a call or question went unanswered. Being from a different state, I was afraid location was going to be an issue. His staff made me fill like they were right next door.
Mr. McGrady and his staff took this negative experience and were able to put a positive light on the outcome and the process.....
I would highly recommend Mr. McGrady as legal representation. Hopefully, I never have to use him again, but if I find myself in a similar situation, I know who to call.

I sat in on a meeting with my cousin and her lawyer Spencer because she felt like she needed the extra support. When I was there he presented himself in a polite manner but as he surveyed my cousin, he had a very sarcastic and condescending tone towards her answers. He was also asking her for information she had already sent a head of time. He had not seem to have read any of the information she sent him about the case. To add, he didn’t even know the date and time of the case. When my cousin mentioned trying to move to North Carolina he was already negative about it before she even got a chance to discuss her reasons. He shared he was going through something similar and seems to have his personal feelings about his situation conflicting with her case. A week before the case he called her while she was at my place. On the phone he carried the same condescending attitude that he had at their meeting. The day of the trial, he canceled the case without even negotiating her custody concerns with the other lawyer. These were fair and justified concerns even if he didn’t discuss North Carolina. He didn’t even ask her permission to dismiss the case. She had tried emailing him and contacting him about it and he doesn’t respond to her. He also didn’t respond much to her emails throughout the case. She didn’t feel confident that he had her best interest through most of the case and he proved her right. He didn’t even call any of her witnesses. I only got to say my piece because I came with her to the only meeting they had before the case. He also didn’t negotiate some of her custody concerns, even the ones he agreed should be revised. He made her feel like he was doing her a favor (yes she was paying him) but had not done much to help her.

magically we can’t be represented. My father died a tragic death at the hands of others, and the team lacked communication and understanding. Especially Gail Granata a (RN) that is apart of the Allen and Allen staff. She completely lacked compassion and empathy, and overall not having any kind of professionalism. I was in a head on collision accident Oct 14, 2020. I reached out to this company based upon reviews. I feel like now I've made an accident by reaching out for help with my case...I found out just today, Mr. Charles is my lawyer. There's been very little to no communication with my case manager. I have expressed that this is my first accident EVER!! I feel so out of the loop!! The investigator/Legal Assistant, Mr. Steve, was very nice and professional; He met me at my house to gather my information & assured me that I've found the right place/ headed in the right direction. Am I in the right direction? Have I found the right group of people to help me? Assist me? I don't know how to rate this Lawyer because I haven't spoken to him. Recommended, I don't know. Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet him throughout the process of my case

I got an advertisement letter in the mail among many. I got many quotes but to me I feel like I hit the jackpot with Sidney Kelsey. First, all of the other letters seemed threatening and made me uncomfortable. I called Mr. Kelsey's office because his letter was very genuine, second, he was understanding and realistic about my case. His fees were so reasonable and so I decided to go with him. I wasn't able to make it the first time to court so he got me a continuance. When the date came he got it dismissed and I am such a happy person thanks to him, in my opinion people who complain about their attorneys do not follow their advice, that's what they are there for!

Some 20 years ago, I reached out to F. Douglas Ross, Esq. about my legal concern regarding the conduct of my brother, then a federal judge in PA, whose heavy-handed interference in a family estate matter was questionable. Attorney Ross said that my now-late brother, "as a federal judge," was not someone about whom he could advise me on how to proceed.
A different attorney, located in Lake Ridge, VA, handily undertook my case and we reached an amicable solution that has held our family together to this day.
I have not forgotten the dispatch with which Attorney Ross dismissed me as soon as he perceived potential political influence from a federal judge in another state. It was clear to me then, and remains with me now, that his first professional priority is to himself and not to his client.
After one consultation, provision of estate documents, and dismissal, Attorney Ross sent me a several thousand dollar bill, which I promptly paid. Life moves on. Time heals. But, sadly, one remembers when one has been forsaken.

We were astonished when I got the $400.00 bill for an initial consult. When we made the initial contact, nothing was said about fees. Since many firms give initial consults for free or as a lower cost I was surprised at the bill. The Lawyer was attentive and gave good advice, but charging $400 to tell me I did not have a case is unconscionable.
