Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. He also looked over the settlement agreement I received to make sure it wouldn't mess up any potential social security/disability in the future. Vernon made me feel like he cared and like he wanted the best for me on this settlement and helped me to avoid having to hire a lawyer and drag out the process. I hope I never get hurt on the job again, but if I ever do I will definitely reach out to them again.

Absolute Scam and Unprofessional Behavior
Jeremy,
I hired you to help with a bogus speeding ticket, where I have clear dash cam footage showing my speed, location, and the officer’s actions before and after the stop. The officer claimed I was going 80 in a 45, wrote the wrong location of the stop, and the speed limit on that road was actually 55. My speedometer was at 61, clearly shown on the dash cam. Yet, you had the nerve to tell me you could “maybe” reduce the ticket to a 14-over, despite knowing the entire ticket was a joke.
After this ridiculous introduction, I called the very next day—over a month before the court date—and requested a refund. Your desk lady assured me I’d get a full refund. But today, I get a call telling me the case was continued (even though I fired you), and now you’re only offering half of my payment back because you “spent 20 minutes” on my case? That’s a load of crap.
Then, to top it off you have the audacity to threaten me with legal action if I dispute this scam through my bank. You’re not even competent enough to handle a simple case like this and now you’re acting like a crook. I honestly feel bad for your firm that you’re so desperate for this money, but I’ll be sure to keep on sharing my experience the community.
Keep the half—you clearly need it more than I do.

I’m a social worker and speak with lots of people on a daily basis. He is very knowledgeable and I look forward to having him represent me in my matter against my employer. He is a caring attorney and knows when he has a claim and that is what you want. He picked out all elements of the claim and knew which he can tackle with confidence. Laura Noble was recommended to me by another lawyer that I know well. She agreed to take a look at my case to see if she felt that she would be able to assist me obtain a favorable outcome. A demand was sent to my former employer which unfortunately fell on deaf ears. Despite this, Laura kept continuing to advocate on my behalf until it became apparent that a decision had to be made on how the case could move forward. Due to her heavy workload and the actual case facts, she wasn't able to take my case through litigation but we mutually agreed that litigation wasn't the best avenue based on the circumstances. She also provided me with an additional resource should I decide to litigate my case. Laura was receptive, helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and fought hard for me. What I really liked about Laura most was that she was direct and to the point and told me up front what her expectations were and how she would fight for me. I do not recommend this law firm for personal injury or any other matters. They don't communicate well and take weeks to do the simplest of tasks. They make you feel like you're not smart enough to understand legal jargon. I don't feel like they care about me and my outcome at all but keep giving excuses to push me aside for another few months. They didn't even notify me when my attorney and paralegal left the firm and gave me no one to contact.

How hard is it to get security cam footage? Too hardfor this guy. Nothing filed. So called restricted driving was never filed. I cannot get a license ever again in the US for sleeping in a car so as not to drive. Also witnessed the officer beat up a woman. Nothing. Should have paid somone else.

I had a very bad experience with Mr. Fox. He was court appointed to me. First impressions are important, no? My first meeting with him was a nightmare. He was rude and belittling. Never once did he ask if I was guilty or innocent. My second session was him presenting a plea deal. I told him I didn't want to take the plea. He informed me if I didn't take the deal I would "piss the judge off" and I couldn't avoid prison. If I went to trial I was facing 379 mo in prison. When I decided to take the plea (I was tired of sitting in jail for 6 months) and signed it I was informed be Fox that the judge would decide my sentence. When it came time to represent me in front of the judge, Mr. Fox didn't try. He really didn't. What the judge decided put me in prison & cost me nearly 100k and 5+ years. Think 3x before you allow this to happen to you.

Cont..ongoing in my battle to prove my innocence, court dates were set 16felony counts to bee exact. The day came as we walked down the sidewalk to determine the plea bargain I was offered. Mr. Fox knowing I would never plea to anything that I had truly not done. Mr. Fox tells me that the plea was going to knock out 16 felony counts and I would plea guilty to two M that too being "open contest" meaning yes I was caught driving on a revoked license but that too being held under the fact that the computer system had my name being held under a fictious male name under an ft a back in 09! Needless to say the 16 felony counts that my local police/sheriff dept had me arrested for were dropped. Andi iplea guilty o 2M charges driving on revoked with open contest meaning that I was pleasing guilty to the charge due to the fact that I indeed was caught driving but did have reason. The system yet again had my name pulling up a young mans ft a out of 09 coming back under my name. Once again innocent yet not according to our local police/sheriff dept. I thank GoD everyday for guiding me through these un-justiful troubles and I'm thank full his good angel sent me Mr. Fox. He gives lawyer a new meaning..I would recommend Fox for the rest of my life. He represents INNOCENT:-)
