We faced a difficult situation with a foreclosure lawsuit on a reverse mortgage. Our younger brother who was disabled lived with our mother in her home and when she passed away he faced having to find a place to live. His disabilities prevented him from supporting himself so finding a satisfactory place to live was going to take time. We tried to work with the mortgage company but they decided to file for foreclosure and the law firm they engaged were equally aggressive. A hearing on default was scheduled in one week. We needed a lawyer that was an expert in foreclosures and we needed the lawyer fast. We contacted a close family friend that is a lawyer and he recommended Andrew Schwartz, someone whom he held in high esteem professionally and personally. We contacted Andy and set up an initial meeting to discuss our situation. Andy met with us for over an hour listening to our situation concerning our brother, reviewing all the mortgage documentation and filings in the law suit. He explained in detail how the foreclosure process worked, immediately assessed the suit had not been properly filed and came up with strategy to fight it and provide us precious time to keep our brother at moms home until we could find a new place for him to live. Andy and his team were successful in delaying the foreclosure process for more than a year and our brother was able to live comfortably in moms house until he unexpectedly passed away. Afterwards, Andy and his team continued to fight to gives us time to sell moms house and satisfy the reverse mortgage and payoff the foreclosure costs. Though losing our mother and brother are sad beyond words the end results more than accomplished our objectives discussed and set with Andy at our first meeting. The outcome as only possible due to expertise and caring demonstrated throughout the ordeal by Andy and his team. They are consummate professionals, caring people and they were dedicated to do their best for us. Thank you Andy and team! We have no doubt they will do the same for all their clients.

Do not believe the goof reviews u read of this firm. My mother's simple will preparation involved three attorneys In a six month period. None return calls. Then my Mom passes away last month and this firm lost the original will. Please stay away from this firm at all possible costs.

Recently experienced a terrible incident where my reputation was besmirched by someone I never even met. It was a personal attack against me that left several of the 13 recipients of an email directed at damaging my reputation in a service I currently provide in absolute shock. In this day and age it is common to say anything you want on social media, ignoring all consequences caused by words expressed. I won't get into how stressful this was to me and my spouse.
