Provided excellent and timely service allowing us to have our loved one released from a facility that was not meeting his needs. I can't recommend Mark Astor highly enough!

In time of desperation, my wife and I thank GOD for putting Mark in our path to help us. A time where we had no idea what baker act was, we started researching, and found a lot of disturbing things. That is when we found Mark. Our teenage was put in CFBH. Mark knew what we were up against. He was very professional, but above all he gave us HELP, SUPPORT, ADVICE, EMPATHY, which was what we needed to face what was coming our direction. He quickly got into action and did not hold back. Thank you Mark. Our daughter is back home.

Mark Astor is probably the best Baker Act attorney in Florida. The health system is broken and he is the only one capable to make the system accountable for the abuse and misinterpretation of the law.

I am only giving a 5-star review because Google won't let me give more. My daughter is a student in Florida from out of state. Before 3 days ago, I had never heard of the horrible Baker Act, giving facilities unlimited power to do whatever they want with your loved one, for as long as they want. I felt completely hopeless. So on a Sunday, I left Mark a message. And within minutes he called. Starting into motion the release of my daughter. (Although the facility drug their feet as long as they could, even after release was ordered. I suspect to trigger another day of payments from my insurance). Mark is knowledgeable and skilled in this specialty. And, he has AMAZING resources with social workers Evan Jarschauer and Jessica Meraz. They are pure rockstars, and I'll never forget all they did to help. Mark, Evan and Jessica were available around to clock, on a weekend, for anything I needed. They literally saved my daughters life. And possibly kept me from going insane myself. It is expensive, but you can't afford to NOT call. Thank you a million times, Mark, Jessica and Evan.

I had a problem with my wife being Baker acted by a hospital without any knowledge from she or me. Mark and Kathleen acted immediately on a Saturday evening and by Sunday afternoon they filed, electronally, everything in court. Tuesday afternoon, my wife was released. Jacquelyn was truly a godsend! She made me feel very comfortable through out every step of the process of working with her. She is professional, knows her trade and at times acted as my counselor in helping calm my nerves. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reputable top notch lawyer!!
