I recently had the pleasure of working with Mr. Mark Astor and his team at Baker Act Attorneys. Mr. Astor helped get my loved one out within 48 hours on a national holiday. He picked up the phone and was available and attentive via text and email during all hours to assist us. He truly is a miracle worker and was passionate about a successful result like a family member, with the knowledge of a skilled high-value attorney. The team was knowledgeable, compassionate, and always available to address my concerns. They guided me through every step of the legal process with patience and expertise, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Extremely rude. I asked why the consultation fee is so expensive at $350 for the hour or 30 minutes. And I was hung up on by Mark. I have been in the construction business for over a decade and have used legal services regularly. I know lawyers aren't known for their people skills, but to just hang up on a customer with a question Is new to me. Update, got a call back from Mark who only proceeded to insult me for a poor review. I know we all have bad days, but Mark could have apologized and asked me to remove the negative review. Update: Called another lawyer. She listened to me for about 10 minutes and solved my legal problems. Then refused my pay, because it was so "easy" to fix my legal issue.

My experience this past week helping a friend was very difficult to navigate. I needed to research an attorney to help them in their situation and called hours trying to get an attorney for them running into walls at every turn. Fortunately, I was able to get ahold of Mark Astor and his team. They were responsive, kind, respectful and VERY knowledgeable about the situation. Mark and his team are utterly amazing. I was in Florida on vacation and was wrongfully put under a baker act. I was transferred to the mental health facility on Wednesday night and he had me discharged by Friday morning. He was prepared to take my case to court, but because he’s an expert at this and has close relationships with people in this industry the mental health facility magically discharged me 15 minutes before we were to appear in front of the judge. They were dragging their feet trying to discharge me and he called the facility and told them they had an hour or he would take him back to court. They were scrambling, but discharged me with literally a minute to spare. I was able to go home to my wife and two beautiful kids. It was an extremely traumatizing experience, but if it wasn’t for Mark and the law firm, I truly believe the facility would’ve tried to keep me there until Monday the earliest and probably two weeks the latest because I have great health insurance. I highly recommend him and his team if you are experiencing the same circumstances. Thank you again and you’ll never know how appreciated you are.
