I called Avard about a case and although they couldn't help me, Kimberly was very helpful and answered all my questions.

I was doing with Social Security on my own until I was denied after the second time. I got in touch with Avard law offices and they assigned me Michael Sexton and Kimberly to work on my case. They were so helpful walking me through this and keeping me informed on what was going on. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders buy them and getting me through this. After a long road my case was won.!!Great staff took the time to explain things. Kept me informed. Robbin was amazing. She answered all my calls questions and concerns took the time to always speak with me on my issues. I always felt comfortable on when calling Robbin knowing she would be efficient and respond to me in a timely fashion.Thank you Robbin for being so caring and comforting and willing to listen when I had so many questions. Everyone is great all around!

Please note- my experience was awful and I have serious doubts and questions about the ethicy of their business model which I will be bringing up will the Florida Bar association, however these are individual experiences and differ from person to person. You will not find my name in the client files because I'm altering my identity due to the thinly vieled threats I've seen this firm make in the comments section towards anyone with a bad experience. Choosing Avard Law to represent me in my time of need was the worst major life decision I've ever made. They offer free upfront representation for disability claims and that should be your first red flag because they did VERY LITTLE to help me prepare for my case, didn't return phone calls and basically treated you like a number that didnt matter. It seems their goal was to throw as much spaghetti ( disability cases) against the wall and get enough to stick to make a profit. Even if they don't charge upfront, they still have certain obligations to clients which I believe they failed to meet. It's as if since you weren't paying for services initially, how dare you expect to talk to an actual attorney or ask a single question to anyone or expect any professionalism in return. That's not the right attitude to have and its shameful Ms. Carol Avard isn't more in touch with what's actually going on at her own firm, who knows what role she actually plays or maybe she's erroneously believes she's too " important"? Getting to my specifics, I spent hundreds of dollars at the request of my legal rep at Avard to prepare for the case through an "expert testimony" that they set up and hired yet I had countless pages of doctors notes already. They actually thought this would matter in front of the judge, but of course the judge seemed to blow it off. After all, any attorney can buy an opinion or paint just the right picture of a disability existing for a client if you're willing to pay the fee- lets just be honest. Do you really think a seasoned judge is going to weigh a purchased report suggesting you're disabled very seriously? Worst of all was the actual legal rep ( not attorney) who handled my case was completely unprepared at the court hearing and it was humiliating. He literally neglected to send in an entire 6 month to 1 year of medical records, notes, etc. illustrating the severity of my disability! When questioned on the record, my Avard rep. admitted it was an oversight or error on his end. Avard did not adequately prepare me for the questions or experience I was going to encounter in front of the judge. I was getting grilled with some questions I didn't understand or know how to answer and my Avard rep sat there cowering not stepping up to even try and help.... He looked back at me in silence repeatedly and let me sweat out this horrific experience. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for reliable and respectful legal representation regarding disability claims.

I had a great experience calling Avard Law about my issue. I spoke to Robbin and she was very helpful and answered all my questions and even called me back several times to follow up. I would highly recommend using the law firm if you ever have the need.
