Working with Avard Law has been one of the worst experiences of my life. Do yourself a favor and find ANY other disability attorney in town. On my initial visit at their office I met with an attorney who acted very professional and told me that I had a very strong case. She gave me the impression that she and the case manager would be on top of my case, keep me informed and be there to answer any questions that I might have in the future. What a bait and switch after that meeting. They were of little use in assisting me with filling out the social security paperwork. There was no strategy from them on how best to present my disabilty case to social security. I've had 5 different case managers in 18 months. Your can never call their office and talk to your case manager, because there always busy and when they tell you she will call back in 48 hours, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. You can never get a straight answer to the simplest of questions pertaining to your case. And if you complain in any way about their lack of help with your case or their double talk in not answering your questions, then they will tell you that they don't have anymore time to talk and will end the conversation. I have dealt with many law firms in my life and they are by far the WORST that I have ever experienced. I wish that I had taken my case to any other law firm in town , because nothing could be worse than what I've experienced with Avard Law. Needless to say, I would NEVER recommend this law firm. If you choose Avard, I can guarantee that you will feel like your just a number to them and that they could care less about customer satisfaction. Do yourself a favor and find someone other than Avard to represent you. I would give them 0 stars if I could. PS, Look at the response from Avard to some of the other negative reviews on here and how Avard acts like the negative reviewer is completely crazy and has no valid claim about anything in their review. It reminds me of how my conversations have gone with them. They are the masters of double talk and are completely tone deaf to their clients concerns or complaints. 2022 Update: The reason that Avard Law didn't find my name in the client files, is because I'm altering my identity so that I don't risk being harassed, or threatened with legal retaliation from Avard Law. Over a year after firing Avard Law, I was able to get disability on my own. However, Avard still filed a claim with SSDI and received $5,000 of my settlement when they did nothing other than forwarded some of my paperwork (that I hand delivered to their Cape Coral office) to SSDI.

It was a little difficult getting connected with an attorney. After 2 no responses to their website contact forms I called and left some details. No call back but they took my call and set an appointment. They missed the appointment and I gave them 30 minutes before calling. They took my call, took information and set an appointment for the next day. They missed the appointment, I overslept, so I called and after a little fuss gave up. I got a call back from the attorney, very helpful and a pleasure to talk with. X, thank you for your assistance. Update Success! Thank you for your support during this troubling time in life.

My friend Kenny is dramatically brain-injured young man and they have been terrific with helping him get his life back in order thank you they also help my stepson who is bipolar and they helped him get his disability I would highly recommend them to anyone in need!

Im a current client. I can not even talk to my case manager. They treat you indifferently and do not care about your well being or hardships. They only care about money. I will never refer anyone to this office. Horrible experience of someone who is supposed to care.

Ana at Avard Law has been Great! She's always been attentive and gets back to me with any questions or updates that I have as promptly as possible. If she's not available there's always someone there that is. So far my overall experience with Ana and Avard Law has been excellent!
