This is by far the best Law firm for Social Security Disability Benefits in the entire United States. Ana and Sagar where both case managers that handled my case. I didn't even really need to speak to the lawyer the first time around. I am really disabled and because of them I was approved the first time around. Being a disabled Veteran was really hard. Now I can say that my family has been taken care of thanks to these two individuals .Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It will not get ride of all the disabilities but at least it will help my wife and son out. Thank you so much and if you live in Florida or anywhere in the country for that matter please choose Avard Law Offices. You will not be let down that's for sure!!!!!!

It's a little difficult to rate as of now, as I have only begun my disability claim. So far they seem to be helpful, organized and on the ball. I was in the office a few days after contacting them...I can only hope and pray that they are able to help me, as mine and the future of my children are counting on the help of them, as well as the system! I hope to leave another good review shortly!

Attorney Michael Sexton and Case Manager Kimberly Cook were beyond amazing at handling my disability case. Kimberly was quick to help me and answer any questions and to get me the appointments I needed. Michael was very good in the hearing and was quick to point out to the judge when things were out of the time period (15 years) and handled the hearing rather effectively. I was very happy with the outcome! Would definitely recommend this law firm to anyone needing an attorney.

Communication with the office was sporadic at best. I wasn't kept well informed as to the progress of my case and it was difficult to get answers. I did all the paperwork myself with no guidance or support from anyone at the office. It took four years before I finally went before a judge - I saw an attorney twice during that time. Also, I had an appointment which was cancelled by the office as I was on my way to the appointment. I called back at least four times that day and kept being disconnected. I asked for a supervisor and was hung up on. I never was able to make another appointment and then, out of the blue, got a "reminder" call for the appointment I never made! I met the attorney for the first time three weeks before going to the judge. He was very nice, but I honestly felt like I did all of this on my own. I still don't know why I had an attorney except that I heard that having an attorney helps your case. It's beyond annoying that I have to give them a "fee" for their "services" which were non-existent until the very end of the case.

I missed a call from them. So without even knowing any of my problems turned me away. I thought they are there to help those of us who cant help ourselves. My Dr had suggested a different laywer but 2 of my friends conviced me to use Advard. I've never been so humiliated and lost. Thank you for making my life even harder.

The firm doesn't keep in touch with clients, no updates are provided (unless you hound them for it). Paperwork is not filled out properly to be filed (you will need to ensure it is done right). Times frames and info you are told is vague.

edit. save your emails and print them these people are the most shady I've ever seen... i will fight these corrupt law office until he end to stop them from doing this to every veteran that they come across I came to this office based on a friends referral and I have to say I'm beyond disappointed. I came in for a consultation and foolishly signed a contract that even after a year and four months of no contact and countless power of attorneys to eliminate still had them take 20 percent of my back pay. They did not submit any thing for me besides an intent to file. The entire time I had no counseling no contact no correspondence nothing from them. Infact I was not aware I even had any representation through out the entire process of my claim until it came time to collect. When I found out about it I called several times until I could speak with Mr. Mohney and explained to him how they hadn't represented me and how I would like my money since the DAV was the only ones that assisted me through this process and he argued with me even though his notes only showed that they submitted two documents for me and that was it. I tried for two weeks to get a hold of him even sent him an email detailing why I didn't believe they were entitled to the 20 percent withheld which he requested and was returned with an email stating that iwas threatening his staff which is false and threatening to take legal action against me. I simply said if he keeps avoiding me like he has and not communicating with me like his office has in the last 1 year and 4 months I would have to find legal representation never once threatening his staff. I dont recomend them any one find free help it's out there vets.

Extremely happy with everyone that I had contact with from my initial consultation to all my updates on how everything is going. Special thanks to Kimberly Cook my case manager. She constantly keeps me updated on my SSA case. When SS sends me forms to fill out Kimberly lets me know that the forms are coming and if I had any questions to call her. I think they asked me enough questions that they know more about me then my wife of 37 years. Thanks again Avard. I'd recommend you to anyone and will spread the word how great Avard is.
