I have never needed to contact Jim Dodson concerning a cycling accident but if I do need a lawyer he will be the legal council that I contact first. I do know Jim Dodson as a great family man an avid cyclist. He has a great knowledge of the law pertaining to cycling and provides it to the cycling community free of charge thru social media posts and cycling club news letters as well as sponsoring many charities that use cycling events to raise funds. We met Jim Dodson at the Florida Bicycle Safari 4/19. He was one of the nightly events. He did tell us of some of his bike cases, impressive. Then he introduced us to the new technology of wave cell in a helmet. At the time only Bontrager made it. It was more expensive than any helmet we've had in the past. By the fall time, I needed a new helmet and got one. I felt safer. I wasn't wearing it when I had an accident in Sept. Got a serious concussion. This is when my husband decided to get the wave cell helmet. On June 3rd I was run into by a car while riding. Threw me pretty far and ended up with 15 broken bones all over my body. My helmet flew off from the impact, but not before protecting me. No concussion! I'm sure I wouldn't have survived. I'm glad Mr. Dodson introduced us to them. I will get another one when I'm allowed to ride again. We live in SC, so we asked if he knew any bike lawyers in our area. He put us contact with one and so far he's been good.

After I was hit by a motorist while riding my bike, it was clear that this motorist was not going to file a claim with his insurance company. I decided I needed to obtain an attorney.
