Initially, I approached Kevin to discuss my case and see what it could be done. I was impressed with his experience in helping others in similar cases. He successfully help me to get the short and long term disability approved. I highly recommend his services in fighting the insurance system.

I was diagnosed with chronic heart failure.... I needed my short term disability and felt I was in no condition to deal with reading the insurance policy nor claim docs and interviews etc. since most of the time fatiqued, dizzy and with nausea not to mention foggy brain function from all my meds. I consulted a few attorneys and finally was impressed and hired KEVIN SCHAEFER. Without a doubt a nice person! He returned my call and replied to my emails promptly ! He filed the claim. Process took a while but all payments due have been paid. Subsequently transitioned to long term care policy and that also took a while but claim was approved on 4/26. I'm a feisty old lady its difficult to earn my trust but I TRUST KEVIN he earned my trust with his honesty. THANK YOU KEVIN

I was referred to Attorney Kevin Schaefer in July of 2021. After speaking on the phone for quite some time, I realized he was the attorney I wanted on my side to go up against the insurance company that had discontinued my disability benefits. Attorney Schaefer told me about the realities and difficulties of fighting this battle. He gave me honest statistics, and reassured me that he would do everything in his power to help me. The process was exhausting for me, but every phone call or email from Attorney Schaefer or member of his attentive staff, helped alleviate some stress and anxiety. The hardest part for me through this whole thing was the physical assessment test where I was to be pushed to my limits. I had so many fears of the pain this would cause. Attorney Schaefer talked with me several times at length about this test because of those fears. The advice he gave me changed my fear to empowerment. He said “just do your best.” I repeated those words to myself over and over again during the days leading up to the test, and all the way through it. Trust the process. Be honest with yourself and the people you are working with, and do your best. We won the appeal! Thank you all for helping me get my life back on track financially.

Be careful with these people they are not trustworthy they offer you commissions which is illegal in Florida, once they have your case and you call them they do not give you information about your case. The release of my children's money was signed and they have not given us the money this case is from 2019 anyway they do not want to deliver the money and we had to go to the bar and hire another lawyer to get our money ... be very careful with these fraudulent characters.

Hola tengo mi caso hace dos años hasta el momento no recibo información precisa acá en la florida existe la barra de abogados con los Cuales se puede realizar reclamacion por este mal servicio. Estaré pendiente y emtablare una demanda en contra de esta firma de Abogados todos aquellos q los estafaron vamos a realizar una demanda colectiva y llevar esto hasta un juez.

Pésimo servicio , no tienen comunicación con los clientes , no se preocupan por su caso . De corazón se los dignos no piensan su tiempo con ellos que son un fraude

I am only giving them one star so that I could warn any potential victims from being scammed by this place. I wish I could give them no stars! My SO and I have been going back and fourth with them for over a year without so much as a courtesy call! They have basically stolen from us. DO NOT do business with them if you don't want them to steal your money! They should be ashamed to call themselves a law firm whilst operating what I believe to be an illegal operation! BEWARE!

I do not know where to begin to describe this law firm. My father had an accident on 12/5/2020, he was not at fault. A “friend” recommended this law firm to us, saying they were the best. They showed up at our house the next following day, eager to take the case. He attended all therapy as as needed. My father signed the paperwork for the money to be released back in 06/2021. Until this day (11/29/2021) we have not heard from them or gotten any updates. We contact the law firm multiple times to get updates they would provide a different story and sometimes they don’t even call back or answer the phone. They are very unprofessional, not transparent, and refuse to provide any updates. I would stay away from this firm. We were told we would be treated like family since the person that referred us works with them, but it is sad how they play with other people’s money. Listen to the negative reviews, sadly we did not, and we learned the hard way. The positive reviews you see here, are mainly from people that probably work for them. STAY AWAY UPDATE: I called them as the response stated, and they still don't answer. This place is a joke.
