Kevin Schaefer was so professional and kind with me. He is not your average attorney. I called a few other attorneys who were rude and some never responded. He is empathetic and caring. I called the firm after being denied my claim by Lincoln. After hiring Kevin it only took 3 months to get approved for my STD and LTD. Update...After 7 months I am still collecting and found out my diagnosis. I sent over paperwork from my doctor to show I cant work. I got a message from the girl Marife to send her my notes that my insurance was asking for it. I am not sure why they need it again. I was a little stressed out due to how she told me they can cancel my benefits although I had the paper work. I hope they will fight if that is the case. I kept them on and have continued to pay. The last thing a person needs is to have stress from the insurance company.

I can’t speak highly enough about Eddie Dabdoub and his associate Tanja. I became disabled in 2015 after a nerve was damaged in a hip surgery. I had to stop working. I had a long term disability policy with my pervious employer and was approved and re-approved several times from 2015-2019. The insurance company was clearly after me to find reasons to deny me for benefits due to my age (I am under 40) and the fact my condition is not improving, meaning that they will have to pay me until age 65 unless I make significant improvement enough to work a full time job. I was denied in October 2021. At this point, I was afforded an appeal and I began working with Tanja. She was very professional and detail oriented. We responded to this appeal as if we were going into litigation: they ordered several experts to examine me and write lengthy reports detailing my condition and my lack capacity to work due to the condition and also the treatments I receive. I was reapproved in May. I know there will be more battles in the future but it is great to know I have such an incredible team on my side. They know this industry and the sneaky tricks the insurance companies try to play on people like me! If you are on long term disability and were denied, I would call them. You’ll never have to speak directly to the insurance company again. It’s peace of mind!

After initially being denied my long term disability cliam, Dabdoub Law was recommended to me for assistance.
