The first time ive actually found and received some of the best representation. @Meltzer & Bell, P.A. I had Stephan D. represent me and i truly felt he had my best interest at heart. They told my husband and I they would take the case. We payed the retainer and now they told us they won't take the case at all. Their claiming they don't do those cases. The paralegal even told us how they would most likely proceed. We didn't withhold any details at all, so this isn't our fault. After assuring us we would get our $2,200 retainer back in full they haven't returned the money. They alledge they mailed a check on November it's now December 2nd. Guess what no check their stringing us along and have zero intent on returning the $2,200. I did some more research on the company it appears their nothing but scam artist. A search on the Florida Bar website indicated that this isn't a real law firm. Based out of Chicago their not on their bar website either.
