In 2018 I was eligible to Adjust Status in the U.S. Friends and Family advised me to Go-It-Alone and simply fill out the USCIS application and pay the filing feels. ***Given the current focus on immigration and the serious nature of the Adjustment process I did not want to take ANY chances by incorrectly filling out the application. I also did not want to run the risk of not submitting the correct documentation or not enough documentation that could help my case. **** I found Connie Kaplan online and browsed her firm's website which I thought was very professional. I then scheduled an in person consultation. *************************************************** After our consultation we decided to move forward with Connie AND it was the BEST decision we could have made. Connie was direct and honest which I appreciated. She outlined the process to Adjust Status and gave us approximate timelines on what documentation we could expect the first few months. She gave detailed instructions on the documents we would need to present AND strengthen our case to USCIS. Connie's willingness to answer many of our questions was VERY comforting to us, And We Had Many!!!!! Connie also set expectations for us ahead of the interview process with USCIS. Knowing she was there during the interview, sitting behind us, greatly relieved any anxieties and fears we had. During the course of my Adjustment USCIS had asked for us additional documentation before deciding to approve my case. Connie told us EXACTLY what we needed to do. And I was approved! I cannot express enough how valuable Connie and her team was to us. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!
