Higbee & Associates was trolling the internet as they do and brought an obnoxious copyright claim against my small business causing me stress and anxiety. Even though the image had been taken down a couple years ago, I didn't realize it was still on the server. Led me to an abundant amount of research to find help on this. I checked out 3 different attorneys. Darren Heitner had an impressive amount of great reviews all espousing how he helped other small businesses the same way I needed help. And he was the only attorney who would do it for an affordable flat fee. So I knew what I was spending, at least for my counsel. He was able to settle the matter fairly expediently and with a lower settlement than what they were asking for. It wasn't as low as I hoped but that wasn't Darren's fault.
