Scam company I paid them over $1000 I don’t remember they filed for bankruptcy then tried to charge me more money when they needed to file documents a-j income and expenses. They are useless and lazy and they scam people. I could’ve done it myself

In general, a great experience. Very responsive at the beginning of the process. I'm giving it a 4 star because after the 341 meeting... I have emailed them 3 times on a matter. It's been over 3 weeks and haven't heard from them except for payment reminders.

I have posted few reviews in my life but I have to let anyone reading this to please beware. Im a business owner and local radio announcer and I would never put myself out there but I feel a need to. Like a lot of individuals I went through some financial situations and I reached out to van horn law Group to handle a my bankruptcy in 2016. Everything was fine until it wasn’t. As of 2023 my previous mortgage company claim I had a balance and decided to foreclose on my property. I reached out to Chad Van Horn and his firm said “ Ok we are going to go after them for sanctions this is wrong” I left it in thier hands. I even hired a accountant to do a forensic audit of my account. Fast forward to 2024. All though they were serviced from opposing counsel, they never responded to any summons. They missed the court date and assured they had it covered. Well they actually didn’t. I have the receipts. I was forced into a Bankruptcy the day before my sale date to save my home. I was undertthe impression that the court proceedings didnt go in my favor. I had no idea Chad Van Horn never showed up. There was a sale date on my house. And they NEVER INFORMED ME!!!!! Because of this situation Im pretty much losing everything. I lost Business financing because of the Bankruptcy and all of this could have been avoided. I had to close my restaurant because my credit line was canceled through the bankruptcy. My life has been upended because of this firm. I didn’t realize the damage that was done until I sought other council. Not to mention, I Mind you , I was still paying on a Bankruptcy where he charged me approximately $43,000 for a Ch 11 bankruptcy. My original quote was 7500. Yes thats ridiculous, but i didnt know until other counsel reviewed my situation. If you too have a situation similar to mine , I suggest you contact the Florida bar just as I did. Otherwise , stay away. 100% Predatory!!! Im sure the response will be" Im sorry about your'e experience. ................"However , I have receipts and emails that I am willing to post. I will wait for the response.
