Joe V. is the worst attorney I have ever had contact with in my life. I was railroaded by a couple of officers one from the hwy patrol and a Lee County sherif. They totally made up their story and it was so obvious. Joe V seemed to think so also and told me not to worry. I told him I wouldn't take any deals. Joe didn't do his job. I received an anonymous call early one morning saying don't go to your court date today. Nothing else explaining why? Obviously Joe was late filing a motion and I had a warrant issued for my arrest. One day Joe was very upset at something I said about not doing his job. He never went after the obvious like establishing a pattern of lies from everyone involved in my case. Other facts that would have blown the case of the prosecution who were wanting jail time for a DUI because I received one in 1982 when I was a kid. Joe took a deal without my permission and the day before the judge I told him I didn't want a deal. Joe got so angry he screamed at me and my wife. Then took the deal. I spent 21 days in jail without my life saving medications. I was in such trauma I never to this day have gotten back to my happy life. 13,000 dollars for nothing.

Joe is unorthodox.He did what he said he was going to do.He got the result He told us we would get.You just have to let him do his thing.I would hire him again in a heartbeat 100%.

In my opinion Joseph Viacava should never be allowed to be a defense attorney for anyone. I would never recommend any hire this man for anything. He basically never did one thing on my case in the over the year he was my attorney. He made no motions, he submitted no evidence for defense, he barely did any depositions. The depositions he did do were a joke. He didn't even know who he was talking to. He is completely unprepared for hearing and court. I was forced to fire him before I went to trial as i had no faith in him at all. Best decision i have ever made. What a difference when dealing with a professional attorney that is actually doing his job to defend you. BEWARE!!!!

In life in all aspects you get what you pay for!! I hired JoViacava after a traffic violation landed me in jail. I first went with another prominent attorney who promised the world but delivered nothing. With limited resorses I than hired Mr. JoViacava and with in hours I was out and the case was dismissed. Joe Viacava is one of the best attorney's i have ever met...professional , courteous, and extremely aggressive in pursuing your best interests, returns your calls and is there for you in a moments notice, never met a lawyer like him, he is more friend then my lawyer.....the best of the best
