Very poor experience before I could even speak to Scott he cut me off and immediately became rude regarding my husband who was in custody. He tried to pin charges on him that weren’t even on his case file when told he had the wrong person he began to get upset. I do not recommend this attorney to anybody.

Worth it

I recently had a need to consult with a law firm on a serious matter and after researching many others review online decided to call Lance Dunford with the Law Firm of Scot T. Mooney. Without getting in to details I can say they are understanding, compassionate and went beyond my expectations for assistance and direction. For the receptionist who took my call to meeting directly with Lance there was no doubt I made the right choice in consulting with them.

I called Scott after my oldest teenage daughter was arrested for two misdemeanors. I felt overwhelmed, scared and nervous from never having gone through the court system before. But after speaking with Scott, I immediately felt confident that he would do his best in helping us through the situation. He was always truthful about everything we encountered which is exactly what I hoped for. Lance helped us during court proceedings as well. He treated my daughter with respect however made sure she understood the seriousness of her situation. They even got one charge dismissed! Highly recommended!

When your speedometer is reading 110 & the cops are in your rear view mirror again , Scott & Lance are your BEST chance!! If you get in trouble A LOT , all you have to do is call SCOTT! I met with a total of 3 criminal defense attorneys (Scott being one) before making the big decision of who was representing me and my case. I chose Scott Moorey and his law firm because I felt he would best represent me and the person I am. This past year has been one of the worst years of my life, but with Scott and his partner lawyer, Lance Dunford, by my side, I felt hopeful. I put all of my trust in them as my lawyers, I did as I was told, and they haven't let me down once. Our meetings with Scott always began by him asking my mother and I how we were doing and feeling. His first concern was our well being and state of mind. He genuinely cared. We had no choice but to be strong through the length of this case (8 months and counting) for us and Scott. He was brutally honest when he needed to be and always gave me the comfort of knowing he was just a phone call away. I was fortunate enough to receive the best plea deal possible, which seemed impossible. I can't begin to imagine the efforts and time put into my case from Scott and his law firm. I am truly thankful for choosing them to be my voice in this case. I will forever be grateful to them. And Scott is right, good people do get arrested. Thank You Scott and Lance!

I just want to say Lance and his team are extremely professional and efficient! Coming in looking for a lawyer was was something stressful that I hadn’t dealt with before. He assured me everything would be fine and worked diligently to get the result we were looking for.
