I'm just not a review type of person, but there's always the exception to the rule. I had the privilege of speaking with Ryan Smollar a few days ago regarding my mother. His firm offers free consultations, so I scheduled an appointment with him. He called me and we had a really bad phone connection. Every-time I asked him a question, the cell service cut out and I couldn't hear anything that he was telling me. This went on for a good 15 minutes or so. I was getting frustrated and I'm sure he was too. I asked if he could call me back when he had some free time when he got back to his office and he said ok. Honestly, I truly didn't expect to hear back from him. He called me back within seconds and we spoke for a decent amount of time. What I want to express is that Ryan is one of those rare exceptions of a truly authentic and caring human being. He was kind, thorough, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. So, if you're looking for a lawyer that will take care of you and your loved ones, then Ryan is your man. Every now and again, if you're lucky, you come across a few special people in your life that leave an impact! Ryan was one of those people for me....

My parents did everything right. Worked hard in their jobs, saved best they could. Little did we know their LTC policy was basically useless after they turned 65 and that its benefit, if available, would not be enough to cover total costs anyway. Meeting with an attorney to help navigate the situation we were going through with my mother that had beginning stages of dementia was the best thing we could even had done. The team here is professional and quick to respond with questions. They lined up everything for us, and were ready to help with future needs as they came up. My mother passed before we needed more of their services, but this 30min appointment saved us from having to deal with extremely difficult situations. And after her passing we were able to mourn and did not have to worry about anything else.
