Mark is very personable and a brilliant lawyer, which makes the client/attorney relationship a pleasure. Mark and his staff are very responsive, easy to access, and make you feel important when they speak to you. I highly recommend Mark and his team for your business' needs.

Yes I would recommend Mark Malek, in fact I have, several times. Mark immediately understood the mechanical mechanisms that I had invented. Mark helped me through the process and secured a patent for me. He had a solution at each step of the process. Patent search, drawings, claims etc. Re the patent process, I didn't have to keep the ball rolling. He did. Mark was the second patent attorney I used on this invention. The first one did not work out, as he was extremely nervous to even be in an industrial shop environment and didn't seem to comprehend my invention. Enter Mark Malek. Several times, while I was explaining various aspects of the complicated mechanisms, to Mark, he would stop me in mid sentence and finish the explanation of that component. At first I was a little miffed by the interruptions, but soon realized Mark already had a deep understanding of both the whole machine and all of its components. His taking over in mid sentence actually gave me confidence that I had the right man for the job. In fact, I asked him how he could know so much about engineering, when his field was law. He then told me of some of his past work experiences, that helped prepare him to be a successful patent attorney. By the way the ladies in his office staff are both professional and helpful. They add a personal touch by remembering me when I call in. Thanks to Mark, I am currently presenting my product to industry and seeking a licensing agreement.

Mark has provided excellent advice on our patent matters. He has a very practical and effective approach in working with the USPTO to further an application and position it for approval. He is knowledgeable, explains the issues in terms that are easy to understand, and provides sound advice. I have enjoyed working with Mark and will continue to use him for our patent and trademark work.
