Words cannot express how grateful we were when Hew took our case. We were told by previous lawyers, including one that is ‘for the people’ that our fees would exceed well beyond what we may or may not receive, leaving us in more debt. There were no other options given. After numerous attempts to hire a specialist/contractor, we realized we had to do repairs on our own because no one would do the repairs for the amount of money the insurance company gave us. Our only option was to start the repairs ourselves. So for 3 years we repaired after coming home from work or in weekends. We had never done this type of repairs before and so needless to say Online DIY ‘how to’s’ was our learning tool. I was introduced to Hew from and insurance adjuster that I had hired to dispute a denial of an insurance claim on my residence. Hew kindly took my case on on a contingency basis. After 2 1/2 years of depositions, court appearance and mediation we finally were going to have our day in court and the 2 insurance companies decided to settle just as we were preparing to pick a jury. No one thinks about doctors and lawyers until you are in a situation to need one, that happen to me. First I get sick then end up in hospital with doctors. Then my husband decide he doesn’t want sick wife and ask for divorce. I came to US through marriage visa. My green card was conditional not permanent, I now have to take care of that by myself without a husband who is sworn in good and bad, but when its bad he turned his back and send divorce papers. I was desperate sick, with no friends, no money, lost faith in people only what was left was faith in God and he guide me to meet Miss Natalie.
