We were involved in an accident where my wife and I were going to my parents on Thanksgiving eve. While stopped at a stop light a man driving a small car struck us at 55 mph with a car full of drugs. He then was able to run off and was never caught by the police. Luckily my 6 year old daughter had gone home the day before with my sister because there was nothing left of the back half of the car. After getting out of the hospital we were not sure where to start. We had lost our car and my wife was beaten, bruised, and could hardly walk. We decided to contact Dan Newlin because his office was right next to my wifes. Dan’s office set us up with one of his lawyers Jason Herman. Jason and his staff did a great job helping us with our accident. This is the first time we have ever hired a lawyer for anything and were not very comfortable with any of the process from start to finish. Jason’s staff was very helpful explaining things to us including procedures, timelines, and expectations. It took 2 1/2 years to sift through all this mess. After all said and done we are very happy with our settlement. Hopefully we will have the paperwork signed and everything complete so we can put this whole accident behind us. March 2017 I was the victim of a car accident with a distracted teenage driver.
